i was looking at a dodge avenger at a dealership. they want $9359.00 for it. it has 104,000 miles on it. i test drove it but i was wondering if my subs that i had in my 2014 ford taurus would fit in the dodge avenger......not sure if you are familiar with the Q bomb sub box, i had 2 12 inch rockford fosgate P3's with a 1200 rockford prime amp.

Does the factory head unit support av cables for the amp and sub

What if you're installing Subs and an Amp to a factory deck that doesn't have any RCA outputs? Would I have to buy a new head unit? I've watched videos that speak about an output converter and attaching it to the rear speakers , but I figured I would get a better sound by connecting it to the Head Unit. Any Suggestions?
@ProvoBeastAudio8 жыл бұрын
A line out converter will be your best move, whether you connect it closer to the radio, or to the rear speaker lines, it will not make a difference. If you want a direct connection to your radio, you will have to replace it. Some people still want better sound quality but don't want to replace the radio so the alternative is adding an audio processor.

Provo Beast Audio Installation This is a first for me, but I have a head unit, i just dont have an installation kit for it or any type of wires. I figured i would just connect it to the factory unit, but common sense tells me that all of the sound would be in the back if i connect the converter to the rear speakers. If i wanted to amplify the car speakers as well, would it be better to attach the converter directly to the head unit?
@ProvoBeastAudio8 жыл бұрын
You will need a wiring kit to hook up a sub and amp. What do you mean by all the sound in the back? Are you talking about amplifying the rear speakers or adding a sub? To amplify all interior speakers without replacing the radio, check this ford truck install where i did that. it would be easier visually to show: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJSzqXSkj52fi6c

Provo beast please please help me. I'm a female and I like to learn new things, however I initially got my beat hooked up at Arden audio . Everything was cool untill one day I was having problems with my car starting as well as kept blowing the inline fuses, thought that those problems was from the way things was hooked up or wired. So I unhooked my after market head unit and another wire that was connected to the lighter portion of the car .now I can't fix it back . Please help me cause Arden audio will charge me too much.

How to install a 2 channel amp
@itsonlymyopinionok81156 жыл бұрын
ya ok, there's NO way I would be able to do this; I have no patience even for my home receiver lol lol; you make it look so easy. too many cords I'd just leave it hanging out like it is lol; think I'll get it professionally installed. Guess I don't understand stereo systems very well.. (which would help, right?) lol

@ProvoBeastAudio6 жыл бұрын
Sure, but i need to know your year, make, and model. Also, this will also vary if you have the factory Boston Acoustics Sounds system too.

I have mine hooked to my factory radio and I’m having an problem with my radio randomly shutting off but we can’t seem to figure the problem any advice ?
@ProvoBeastAudio7 жыл бұрын
Sounds like a wiring issue to me. Recheck all your connections, make sure your line out converter is wired correctly, etc.

Do you use multimeter for gain leveling or oscilloscope?
@ProvoBeastAudio8 жыл бұрын
Yes. But for those that don't have one at home, there are a few other ways to tune your amps: 1. you can match the gain voltage with the output voltage of your radio. Typically PIoneers are 4v so set your gains on your amps at 4 volts. Also, you can turn it up until distortion, and then back it off. Of course, the best way would be by using a DD1 Distortion detector or an Oscilloscope.

Hi, can a subwoofer can be installed with the original stereo?
@ProvoBeastAudio6 жыл бұрын
Yes, however a line-out-converter is required to provide signal from you factory radio to your aftermarket amplifier.
@jonathancamacho86067 жыл бұрын
did you have any problems with headlights dimming because my headlights dim bad when bass hits
@ProvoBeastAudio7 жыл бұрын
No, because of two things: 1-we upgraded the alternator wire from the alternator to the battery, and 2-we had a healthy battery. This would help stop the dimming of lights.

I have a vw touareg and aftermarket head units that work with all 11 speakers and the factory digital amp to avoid rewiring the entire system are impossible to find basically. I found an android based unit that works with the factory digital amp and all speakers work but there is only 1 rca out for an amp. I'm only planning on running a single sub, do I need to buy an rca splitter or just connect 1 rca lead, say the right or left one only or do I need to have both right and left connected? thanks
@ProvoBeastAudio7 жыл бұрын
Yep, get a splitter as your amplifier is looking for a dual RCA input.

The power wire was ran down the driver side, the rca, speaker wire, and remote turn on wire down the passenger side of the car. The remote turn on wire is a low amperage wire and will not cause any issue.
@salamiman2235 жыл бұрын
I was going to remove my amp and subs with the wiring but I would rather not lmao. Seems way difficult and if the guy who installed it actually connected to my battery then I’m totally not removing the wheel and bumper just to access it. I’ll just leave the wiring in I guess, maybe the next person to buy my car will use them
