Not saying it doesn't exist. But finally a series that says: 1.) Dig straight down And 2.) Y -54 (not y -59) Freely admit I mine 1x2s, the idea of bringing trap doors and an axe to mine is just not for me. Very much enjoying the series btw. Been using some of your tutorials for a while now.

My 1×2 are offset for a few levels for less chunks loaded, so I get more diamonds from already explored chunks. Each block is 2 high, and 1 wide, so I don't miss single diamond veins: ■■□■■■□■■ □■■■□■■■□ ■■□■■■□■■...

I found it even more hilarious that the 2nd librarian gave him mending again for the lowest cost. Prowl gets that luck that most of us dont get that easily, but then couldn't get his fortune 3 trade. It's always something.

I’m using the meadow area close to spawn it’s surrounded by snowy slopes and frozen peaks near blujays’ first village as well! Just loved the way that little meadow looked lots of potential

am I the only one that almost never makes a diamond pickaxe? If I am starting a world I run to a village, make extra beds, make an iron farm, make a sugarcane farm, get mending and a few other necessary enchants, get toolsmiths, weaponsmiths, and armorsmiths and buy the gear I need and use the few diamonds i collect for enchanting tables and crafts that require diamonds....

@@Diamondsword85_RS right. But I buy a diamond fortune and unbreaking pickaxe for like 20 emeralds. Why buy the book when you can buy prot 3/4 armor with unbreaking and enchanted tools and weapons all for 20-30 emeralds a piece. You have to roll mending and good until you want to fight ender dragon or wither. Then you might want better enchants.

... my 2nd long term world (first was lost) and I decide to dig an inverted pyramid to my end portal (10ish above modern deep slate to sea level), before getting diamonds, but after trading for diamond gear! I only got diamonds for enchanting table, and for a tribute (a giant sword) to someone later... 6 months of tunneling later. And even worse is this was _ALL_ done on *this* phone! I love Christmas of last year cause of my new computer!

I have a variation of the mineshaft digging that I have used for a few years. Dug into a lot of caves in my early MC days, Place a water source at the top level that flows into one half of your 2x1 hole. You will always be in a waterfall while digging down and at any time you can take the water back up to the surface where you started. Low resource cost another advantage, though waterfalls are slow to swim up.

I always try to get bamboo as soon as possible and get them planted. Its a quick and easy steady supply of sticks, especially more so since I don't much like the bamboo wood. Also the same applies to using wood as a fuel source for very early game if you use wood that way. I personally make a couple campfires for cooking very early game so I don't use up much needed resources like wood or coal. Just throw 2 down and put a cobblestone plank on top of each so you won't catch yourself on fire and you can cook 8 pieces of food at a time.

While you probably have plans already, I recently discovered and made your spawner/iron farm/trader hall and I'm hoping you do something like that. I would love to hear more about how or why the discounts work this way. (Which are awesome!) I started by curing some of the zombie villagers so I didn't have to transport any. Double discounts from them! Wish I had done more before switched to breeding them.

I know most of this, but was curious about why you skip to the fourth block to mine. I think I’m just greedy. I want the singles that I would miss! Plus, there are things I always forget about Bedrock - like bonemealing sugarcane. I like to go back to the first version I played even though I mostly play Java nowadays. The colors are more vibrant, and the fog isn’t as annoying. But there are some bugs that get to me. I like both versions for different reasons. Nice to have a guide. Could have used it four years ago.

Because the level of enchant, as well as prior enchant penalty carries through each enchant you actually want to be applying the lowest level enchant first

Might I ask what resource pack or modpack you're using to constantly display your position coordinates? As a newer player, still learning about those kinds of quality of life things that don't change the vanilla experience.

This is Bedrock Edition, and no modpack is needed for it. It's just an option in the world settings.

You should do more of the addons as video reviews with comprehensive playthrough. Especially for "backpacks" and "chest pets" Backpacks are slightly annoying to interact with, and chest pets can SOLO at least THREE Wardens SIMULTANEOUSLY.

found almost 3 stacks of diamonds yesterday with about 2-3hours of tunneling. but I did it at -53 y level. I havent watched the whole vid yet so idk his method but I mine 2 vertical blocks high and 1 block wide(just enough for you to walk through) in a longgg straight tunnel. then come back to the starting point and make a little base camp. from there i will mine tunnels of the same size to the sides, with 2 blocks separating each tunnel, so that i dont miss a singl block between -52 and -55.

It hurt me when you used the anvil so uncautiously. If you combine fortune 3 with mending it should only cost 2 levels. Then combine new pickaxe with new book for 3 levels. 5 levels total.

Having combined two books to create the fortune 3 also increases the enchant cost though...so it's gonna cost a bit anyway

The villagers always do that to me. Right off the bat, ill get something like sharp 5 or Efficiency 5. I always think, that wasnt hard so ill cycle him. Most of the time, ill never see that again for days. Yesterday, it was Unbreaking 3. Got some Unbreaking 1s, but that sux, xp wise. I have the emeralds from raids, so I dont care about the prices. Ill cycle a villager until im just so mad, i quit playing. For that day.

You either made a (very minor) mistake about the lava level or the math. Y=-53 is at your head level, -55 is below your feet.

How can you tell the difference between lava and the other stuff? Like when I try to make obsidian, it turns to cobblestone instead. Or is it standing still lava?

Obsidian is created when water touches a lava source block. If water touches down stream from the source block you get cobble.

I don't crawl back out, mine 3 or 4 blocks (depending on what spacing you are using between tunnels) to the left/right of the tunnel your in and then turn again and start mining your way back. So instead of mining one long tunnel, you are mining a U-shaped tunnel to get back where you started.
