Joe introduced me to Paul and Paul started a test on the Glasurit 923-85 clearcoat. He fell in love with the look and told me to never reveal to anyone the product he was using. He then switched to the Glasurit for all clearcoated guitars. Being a guitar guy yourself, I am sure you know that Joe Knaggs went on create his own high-end guitar company that seems to be doing very well. I loved my CE24 for the exact reasons that this video shows how great the factory is. Mine was recently stolen but I went to a store today to look for a replacement and the best guitars in the whole store were all PRS by far! Even the used instruments were all above and beyond in quality and tone of anything else I’ve played. It feels silly to say but honestly it makes playing other guitars half the fun!

Absolutely a eye opening experience with the history behind the scenes of music... in depth look into the world of guitars...amazing how heart and soul is put into this process... it’s just as important to those who make this magic to those who turn the tunes into magic ...

I just purchased my first PRS Core, a Custom 22...its immaculate. It sounds, and plays better than anything ive ever touched. My other two high end guitars (for me anyway) are ESP E-II's, which I love, but the PRS is just hands above. The resonance, the feel, the frets, the playability.. Its all just a notch above. Kudos PRS, such a fabulous instrument.

I love how everyone at PRS seems so passionate about making their guitars the best they can possibly be. Total pipe dream, but I’d leave the UK and everything I have behind to spend my days working amongst such enthusiastic and dedicated people.

One(1) month for the neck, ONE MONTH...and this is why PRS is best on the planet. A neck that's stable for the lifetime of the instrument.

Spyder Logan Adamovic Basses has a similar quality control. They wait for 6 months between rough cutting and assembly, and another 6 months between assembly and finishing

I’ve just ordered a PRS hollow body standard in fire red burst. My partner said ‘haven’t you got enough guitars?’, but when I showed her the pics. she said ‘Go for it’. I can’t wait for this; I have mainly solid guitars, an SG and a Telecaster, also a Hagstrom with a semi hollow body with one f hole. This should complete my collection and satisfy me (for a while).

A question that I've always wondered, who hand writes the gold serial numbers on the headstock? Perhaps a 1 to 2 minute video could show how that process is done.
@stephenbaldwin20095 жыл бұрын
I'm sure that's screen printed on to the head-stock
@aPHYSICALretawd5 жыл бұрын
@@stephenbaldwin2009 no the serial numbers are hand written on usa models
@stevenrowe55815 жыл бұрын
They are most certainly hand written on core models. On Private Stock models Paul Miles puts the finishing hand written touches on the back of the headstock.

07:58 I work in a factory myself (rotation creasing/cutting tools for packaging), and that shirt really says it all. If you wear that during your work, that says SO much about your attitude.
