Clark explained several times to Dennis throughout the story that Dennis doesn’t get to keep the cars, (except for the blue Viper and maybe the Supra), and that he only gets a big percentage of the cash winnings. The only way Clark took advantage of him was essentially using him as a human shield against Vasily. A secretly now-healthy Clark believed Dennis was on a roll and was also capable of beating Vasily to win back the Concept Viper, but simultaneously wanting to save his own skin in case something went wrong during the race. Dennis understandably took great offense to this since he did all the work and, rightfully, felt “used”. But at this point, Clark made Dennis rich and he also gave him his blue Viper. To risk everything he had acquired just for a showdown with Clark for ownership of the Concept Viper was ballsy and maybe stupid. But defeating Vasily, the best member of the club, 8 times in a row, Dennis 100% deserves the car. Not Clark.

Perhaps Dennis should have kept in contact with all the drivers he raced and told them to sneak out the cars to Dennis place and Dennis pays them after he beats Clark. Win win.

I like how everytime the player crosses the finish line, the car either spins out or runs into another car because the computer takes control briefly and won't recover the car. Looking back on playing this game in the mid 2000s, that's pretty funny. Competitive game with a competitive AI, 5/5.

Haha i remember this game it was hard as hell, and more for a kid, It got me mad many times, just in the final lap crash and its over, skyline was epic there

I love how they make the cebra speed 12 one of the fastest cars in the game, but make it impossible for you to drive because it feels like you're constantly driving over banana peels

*Seth Gallaher* You're right. The TVR Cerbera Speed 12 is very quick and fast, but it has that oversteer weakness.

I don’t know if you knew about this, but the cop version of the Cerbera Speed 12 doesn’t slip around, it has perfect grip like the Jaguar XJ220
