are you sure that the mic had audio levels during the test? and whatever game you are playing are you sure that the ingame mic levels are turned up?

Yes the only way to get system sound through headphones is to buy the Sony wireless headset or the pulse elite wireless headphones. Or astro gaming headsets or the turtle beach headphones. I don't know of any current Bluetooth solution that will allow system sound to the headset

how about if you want to connect a mouse or a keyboard from PC to you PS3 and they are not bluetooth devices. last time I did it and then it will say an unknow device registered.

bluetooth is for audio chatting only. if you would like to hear chat and gameplay i would suggest buying the playstation branded wireless stereo headset or the wireless pulse headset. These can be found on amazon

how to do wheb your bluetooth headset has also keyboard functions but its more like just the volume up and down button and the power on, I can connect it to my phone but when on the ps3 it just say passkey wrong try again yet I never had the chance to type.

Only supported headsets have this option ie. the sony stereo wireless headset or the sony pulse wireless headset.

No. You can't do this (you can try connecting to a smart TV - if you have one. Or if you have a normal TV set the audio output to scart( the red and white connectors) and connect a mother-scart-connector-to-jack-convertor to the headset(if it has a 3.5 mm jack - but then the name 'wireless' becomes useless). But I think you can do this, but only with ps3 headset (mine is Sony, but it's not designed for ps3).
