I remember someone in the Steam Forums questioning the morality of gas rounds in the game, and how it clashes with the idea of the Payday Gang being the "good guys" of the story. I didn't have the heart to tell him .50 BMG, incendiary rounds and rocket launchers on infantry are also against the Geneva Convention.

Incendiary weapons do have some restrictions on their use, but otherwise it's fair game for all of them. No war crimes involved. Chemical weapons are definitely a big no-no, though. Very much banned.
