Amazes me how much information is in every single word. The psalms were never interesting to me until I found this channel to help me understand how amazing the Word of God is

My enemies are of this world. We are surrounded by seen, known, unknown and spiritual enemies. As a believer when I read the Psalms I think of Satan and his evil army of fallen angels, demons and people of the world under his power and deception. Lord protect me and my love ones and Saints from the powers of evil I pray. Amen.

Thank you for this. Very beautifully expressed and heartfelt. It made me remember the times when I used to approach the Lord this way. It’s not quite 5:30 in the morning and I got up early to pray, and I will be sure to approach the Lord this way from now on. God bless you.

Ive been loving going over the Psalms with you as well pastor. Just recently the lord brought the hunger for his word back into my heart and he led me hear. Praise the LORD. It was exactly what I needed to hear. I am faced with much persecution lately but I know that that is just a distraction sent to stop the move of GOD in my life. After looking at the texts more closely i have a new love for the psalms as you explain them to us so wonderfuly. David who was in much tribulation said he will not be afraid of the 10,000 around him. I to will take this advice and I will not be afraid nor will i be moved from trust in the LORD and all his promises.

Good morning all. I started the Psalms last week and am throughly loving God's word. I start my day with pray, then I read the psalm, then I listen here and then to Spurgeon's Treasury of David. Then for a bit of levity I try to find the Psalm as a song on youtube. There are so many beautifully sung songs with the added benefit it helps me remember the Psalm and the teachings. There is a song simply called Psalm 5 by the Maranatha Singers. Thank you for all your Spirit lead teachings. Grace and Peace to you all.

Oh oh...the contemporary "modern" church doing something called Oder of Worship. I don't think the modern evangelical church even knows what tradition had been practiced since the early Old testament. It would be good to go back to some of that. Great message. Thank you.

Please explain to me how David could be praying to Jesus Christ when Jesus Christ wasn't born?
@DavidGuzikEnduringWord Жыл бұрын
Two considerations for your question. 1. Jesus had not yet been incarnated as man, but he certainly existed and was alive in heaven as the second person of the triune godhead. 2. Psalm 5 says that David prayed to the LORD (Jehovah), as opposed to praying to Jesus. The triune godhead consist of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. So we don't read that David prayed to Jesus, but to Jehovah, the name of the Father. Hope that this helps.

David can i ask you..have you ever tackled the individual arguments raised by well known liberal Episcopalians like Bishop Jack Spong?....he says things like the Devil was a term introduced by others well after Jesus went back to heaven...that many things in the Bible have been altered as time has gone by...its just that there are many intelligent people have moved towards these liberal views so i wondered have the points raised in his book been tackled by you ir anyone you could recommend...i dont want to look at his book in case i get sucked in to ideas that arent biblical but im concerned there may be sdome truth to these things or so many educated people wouldnt be going across to them thank you susana

I love your explanation but respectfully like to state that Martin Luther was a wicked man who took words out of the Bible. He boasted that he slept with the devil. And his comments on Jesus were blasphemy against Christ and his Sacred Scripture
