Based on how SEGA handles the progression system in this game, Personally your best bet is to liquidate everything and keep the free gear/armor given to you by SEGA. It's strong enough to handle all content except a few things that aren't really a big deal due to virtually no good drops coming from end-game bosses. If you're dead set on getting better armor I would just suggest getting octo armor since it's free, And using all the LC capsules you're given by the exchange shop or seasonal event happening right now. Also just grab a cheap melek and slap LC capsules on that too, The Meseta you'll invest into getting anything right now will be a big waste and most likely will upset you when they make newer stuff and the stuff you just bought is worthless. I just wish they'd add a more sustainable drop that not only is good but holds in value in the long term (3 - 6+ months). I felt like their decision to make content not only easier but lighten the drop rate on more rarer items removes the since of achievement for players who are searching for more of a challenge, I understand the community of this game doesn't like hearing this type of discussion, but I feel like there isn't much sustainable content due to the consistent catch up mechanics that aren't needed and gives the average player no time to breathe. We don't need to be showered with end-game loot every month that makes everything free.

Definitely don't go all in with best in slot unless you already have it for sure lol. Anything given in the seasonal event should be fine and any cheap/easy stuff like Verschmelz or Melek can be a nice step up from Argenti but not required

First people complain that the drop rates are too low and dont want the BIS items to be RNG locked, now people complain the drops are too plenty and want more of a challenge to chase?

@@merricc5218 Its not the same people complaining on both sides lol. Wide spectrum of people with differing opinions on how gearing and how difficult the game should be. Some love to chase insanely rare items and others don't. Also, the game changes its rates on items constantly making people flip their opinions on specific item rates. For example, LC augments, Arms Refiners, Meleks, Tisahs, you name it.

Why spend money when I could wait 6 months and randomly get the same item for free for no reason at all. Why should I try to learn difficult content when they most likely will nerf the boss because of massive complaints that the game is too hard, They need to give me a reason to care/try. I love this game and don't want to complain but try to see it from my lens, I am not asking for the game to be heavily weighted on either side. All I want is a bit of breathing room, they are smothering us with things we don't need to make grinding virtually useless.

I was sweating bullets when I first saw that they nerfing Versh, but then they said that it will be balanced out with Termina in mind since it gets boost as well and I somewhat calmed down. Yes that's my level of luck - I'm still sitting on Versh.

Yeah, for a short while I thought Sega is forcing Versch users to get new weapons and according to the ngs damage calc, if you have a high fixa (3 and above), the only weapon that's better is the flugelgard series and we all know it costs a ton of meseta. Good thing they're gonna balance it out so Versch isn't nerfed lol

I totally agree on the changes, but it might compromise some of our decisions during the boost, so I'm not too happy about that. Sure we get a bunch of items and a 10% fixa base boost but literally the day after it ends whatever you chose to upgrade might not be what you want after the balance changes... It's as if they made a campaign to spend all your skill points (let's assume you can't change them ever for this examples sake) only to change every skill the day after the campaign. Hopefully they will be mindful of this and bridge the gap between abandac and the other fixas while somewhat keeping the priority for each specific weapon intact.

Makes it hard to invest on a piece of armor of weapon with expensive augments when they'll just release a better weapon/armor eventually, i get wanting to upgrade your stuff to tackle the end game stuff if you're interested in that but when they release something new that might be slightly better than what you have eventually, you'll most likely have to either spend money or buy the Exdi augments with meseta one way or another which has always bothered me because I have pieces of armor with the old Exdi's but i can't use them anymore as they have lower potency then the newer stuff that's also better, i really wish we could take augments away from our own armor and make it untradable so people don't break the market and we could transfer it to another piece of equipment, preferably to the new stuff if you're blessed and lucky to get them or upgrade old Exdi augments somehow.. just a thought on how they could make rare augments transferable to newer gear instead of making us suffer and get them all over again 😢

@@aguythatlikesrice8075 flug is a 10* so it's going to be better but getting them is like trying to win the lottery. I don't know how good tisahs is compared to other 9* like verschmelz or melek. I play braver so verschmelz is my best option ATM.

Most melek weapons are around 20k on ship 2, unless it's katana or soaring blades. Dread scales are currently dropping from the limited quest, and right now is also good time to farm them at rappy spots. While you are farming at rappy spots and getting dread scales you'll also get some LC augments from captains along the way. It should be rather easy for any player to have a melek, even one with a low fixa I'd say, either from buying one on the market or from exchanging dread scales. Don't forget that there are dread scales on the seasonal shop. If you are planning on upgrading a weapon right now, say from an Aventi or Neos, even a low termina verschmelz, I would look into getting either an affordable melek or tisah ahead of the upcoming gear enhancement week in mid January, and hold off on unlocking the potential and limit breaking until then. It will be substantially easier to get it to +80 at that time, and there is plenty of days to get the materials like Primm swords should you for some reason need those. As I look, many tisah are right around 100k, and that's less than one round of daily task meseta. No excuses.

Hey, do you have any tips on getting weapons/armor to +80? It seems to get really slow from 60 onwards, but I've seen so many people with +80, so there must be an easy that I just don't know about and I hope you have an answer.

You need to use Gold Primm Sword II's or Gold Primm Armor II's to really get anywhere with enhancing at higher levels. Even using those though, it can take quite a bit. From +60 to +70, it takes between 50-100 Gold Primm II's (depending on great successes) and its the same for +70 to +80. Gold Primm II's are dropped quite often in higher level content and if you are trying to rush it you can also buy them from other players in the player market. I would recommend buying a capsule called "C/Endymio" from other players as it should be super cheap and can be converted into Gold Primm II Swords or Armors on a 1 to 1 ratio in the item lab "Other Enhancement Materials" tab and clicking on either of the Primm II's to show more options. Tbh who cares about verschmelz... tisah drops like candy due to the events. And since they even anounced new weapons in january, verschmelz gonna be outdated real fast. So i see this as a buff in the long run. (dosent change the fact, that i still dont like the fixa system at all)

This is a good time to ask; I got a Fixa Attack 5 Verschmelz Wand drop (from LC Exploration). One of my characters is using a Verschmelz Wand, and still has it at Termina 1 after a few months now (bad RNG). Would transferring the Attack 5 be a better option, specially with the buffs? And does Fixa Attack do anything significant for Verschmelz in general?

You dont want anything else other than Termina for Verschmelz. Termina is strictly best because of the 100% crit rate on it. So, the 6% crit potency of Termina 1 is like having just straight 6% potency all the time which is better than the 5% from a Fixa Attack 5

The fixa 5 is good to keep incase you get can get to termina level 4. As you can get a 10% chance to increase that level 4 to a level 5. But you’d have to get lucky to get up there.

It’s because termina is getting buffed and versch crits with all attacks. Ultimately, the nerf and buff will equalize out to not make Verschmelz worse

@@CriticasterQ I do want to point out, nerfing versh is an issue because it further hurts it's use in low level PSE farms due to the damage cap formula, right now pre-nerf it does 15-22% less damage than the old 40%+ potency weapons even when you factor in the crit rate

I'm more looking forward to the upcoming -Gunner and Ranger Class Expansion- And what that could all entail. Expansion makes me wonder if we're getting new skills, or maybe even a brand new weapon type (like the revival of shotgun?) Wouldn't it be the curveball if that's what they mean when they say "new weapon" 😂 I've been messing about with the fixa enhancement system by using all the variocool drops this season as materials. Even with only 10% success rate and not using any enhancers I was able to craft up my own fixa level 3. It does take smashing a considerable amount of variocools into each other and navigating through the menus over and over. I think the new item that will allow us to add a random preset skill will streamline the process of getting fixa 1 materials, because that's really the current hurdle. It takes a lot of base variocools to get one successful fixa 1, then you need an equal amount or just luck for a second fix 1, and thats to get the privilege of smashing the two into themselves and HOPE they go up to fixa 2. Then you need a second fixa 2 🫡 To be honest there were so many fixa 1 variocool on the market for pennies that I just ended up doing that to ease my way to a fixa 3, so having that new item will definitely make a difference. As in all modern things, pay 2 win is going to inevitably become an option. It doesn't bother me entirely, as long as the power isn't substantially greater than than what a free player could achieve. In the case of Lux Halphinale S, while it will certainly be the current BiS augment alongside its Non-S variant, it's no where near necessary to run a Lux of any kind in order to get 20 different viable and worthy augments for the full effect of an Abandac. I am using an abandac3 melek with 16 different augments and that alone is quite strong. It does require running exdi or addi augments to really get a good spread, and if anything I would worry about those being the pay 2 win concern.
