PSone STRIDER by Capcom - One credit run - a good arcade port?

I bought Strider 1&2 for Psone recently (Japanese version) and I will do a review at some point, after spending some time on Strider 2. But in the mean time here's a quick play of the port of Strider that's included in the package, on it's own disc no less!
I used the original soundtrack here, but there appears to be a remixed soundtrack available on the disc. Nice.
is it worth the cash? with retro game prices on the increase the people need to know.
