Played Table of Tales in #backlog-club a couple months ago. I really enjoyed it! The combat had just enough depth to make fights strategically engaging, and there was a bunch of replay value. A PSVR 2 port could be cool (eye tracking would be handy for selecting characters), but I'd probably prefer a sequel.

The developer is busy finishing up their new game Arken Age right now, but hopefully they could port Shadow Legend after that, or make a sequel! It was a lot of fun, but it also sort of felt like it was the proof of concept for a bigger game. So many gameplay mechanics that were awesome but barely used. I'd love to see it expanded into an open world ARPG.

Bryan, the very next day after suggesting Wipeout and Dirt Rally, I found out that Wipeout has no wheel support ( boo!!!), and realized that both games were flat and exclusively PS4 anyway. NO chance of moving to PS5 AND patched for PSVR2 then ( Nice dream while it lasted). Thanks for clarifying that we're talking smaller games.

It's not on my priority list at the moment. cyubeVR irritated me a lot and I don't agree with the people who say "it's worth $30 just to stand there and look at how beautiful everything is." I might wait for a few QOL patches before heading back in. It has potential though, for sure! :D

Unfortunately ToT: The Crooked Crown will not be coming to PSVR2. They said... "The sad truth is that while ToT was a critical success (people that love it, really love it!), it wasn't a commercial smash. Therefore when the option came up to port it to PSVR2, there simply wasn't much interest from an external funding perspective (we couldn't afford to do it ourselves)." They do have a new table top VR game coming out though, NEON Squad Tactics, trailer is up on Meta store.

The main thing is that they haven't been discouraged from putting out other games in the genre. They deserve some success, even if that means going the Meta route.

There's no money in making VR games, so AAA studios (or even single A studios) aren't interested. Which means VR is left with a ton of REALLY SMALL indie studios.

I would love to see a psvr2 version of Kona. I just loved the atmosphere of that game. Even better would be if we made enough noise so the developer made a vr version of kona 2. Put Kona on the "why isn't this on psvr2 yet"

The ambience in KONA is uncommonly good for a PSVR1 game. Driving around the snow swept town with narration chiming in from time to time was engrossing. And the story actually amounts to something too. The devs have said KONA II Brume isn't coming to VR, so I went ahead and played it in cinematic mode on PSVR2. It's an excellent follow up.

Yup! Mostly that the devs focused on getting a flatscreen version out (to attract the biggest audience) which meant the PSVR2 version got a little delayed in the process. It's still coming though! :D
