I dont know what youre on but the soundtrack was AMAZING, just because it doesnt appeal to the typical western call of duty sensibilities and instead has a very japanese feel doesnt mean its cheesy, sho's theme is one of the most suspenceful, upbeat, fitting-for-a-boss themes ive ever heard even now

My one dream is that this franchise gets the reboot it deserves, I want a fully HD cutscenes of the story, this franchise has such a good storyline that deserves to be retold in a modern engine. Eiji, Sho, Gaia, Abel and Veil, Cupid, Vermillion. All these awesome characters in true photo realistic 3D

This third installement had many flaws but for me it's the funniest to play of the series, and it has tons of characters. With better graphics and some more polishing it could have been a great game.

Takara/Tamsoft hasn't done anything with the license other than the unrelated 2009 Wii "Toshinden". Since gaming nostalgia is all the rage, bringing back the OG PS1 characters for a Soul Caliber cameo would be awesome. The character designs still have so much personality.

Nagisa! Thats him! Always played as him, and spamed his gun. Cheap ass but fun as hell. This game was fantastic! So many characters, it was great. But if i rememebr correctly some where just basic clones of others wern't they? Still a fun game.

Always preferred the Toshinden series more than Soul Calibur. One wasn't too bad but the Saturn version was certainly better, 2 was pretty good while 3 was the best in the series. Didn't care for 4 at all.

I have all Battle Arena Toshinden games and for me Toshinden 3 is by far the best and my favorite game of the series and this is my order; BAT3>BAT Remix>BAT1>BAT URA>BAT2>BAT4 Battle Arena Toshinden 3 is the best in all (Characters, Moves, Abilities, Combos, Special Attacks, Themes, Soundtracks and much more). Everybody have a favorite Battle Arena Toshinden game and they like the BAT1 and other people like BAT2 and blablabla. For the people who saying BAT1 or BAT2 or BAT4 is better than BAT3 deserves a punch in the face, everybody have a favorite Toshinden game but pls no other game is better than BAT3.

***** If you are fan of Toshinden games like me, yes i recommend the 3rd game to play. Some people don't know how much fun of Toshinden 3 can be so many moves and combos you have to discover, but well i like all Toshinden games but Toshinden 3 is and still my favorite game :)

+Gonçalo Tordo Ura is just a remake of part 2 on the saturn, but there is no chaos, no Uranus (Thank god! she's annoying!) and a different boss, but Sho and Vermillion is still on it.

i never really understood why they decided to make half the cast fight EXACTLY like the other half... just to have a large roster? that's not even an excuse. and JESUS, that's some horrendous CG, even for the time the game came out.

There is a name for those half of the cast...Clones. And why, I don't know, but a thing that can be seen is that half of them are "counterparts" to main characters (Eg: Playing as Nagisa gets you to specifically fight Vermillion no matter what later, as you also unlock him when you beat the game with the aforementioned character).

Guys i swear i played this game as a 12-13 year old kid now remembering the Awesome Story and Playtime i had on this game. Every Chars as a secrect counter part with you have to play free! on Memory Card! so nice, i swear i did all of them! Best players Vermillion and that McJacson dude! :D

So easy trust me. Unlock all Sub-Bosses Then pass the game with Vermilion in Hard difficulty - To Unlock Sho Then pass the game with Sho in Very Hard difficulty - To Unlock Abel Then pass the game with Abel in Very Hard difficulty - To Unlock Veil Then pass the game with Veil in Very Hard difficulty - To Unlock Naru Then pass the game with Naru in Very Hard difficulty - To Unlock the Secret Moves and other Costumes Abel is awesome but Veil is more awesome than Abel, he is more stronger more resistence and have more 5 extras moves than Abel and he is Super OP and best character of Toshinden game series ;)

And remember one thing, to unlock that characters you need to win all fights without Continues. You can't lose the fights :)

In this game, there are basically two versions of every character. It’s like a Samus/Dark Samus in Smash Bros situation, or Ryu/Ken. It made the game interesting because while super similar, they had slightly different styles and completely different stories. Made it easier for developers to have so many characters as well.
