I do believe.. in this list.. mayhaps.. Alien? Which would cover the weird above and the always consuming feeling of not belonging in the normal society's world. Also I do believe that there should be a complete second list for each of the original list that include the dark sides of each as yes each of us may be these and this may define our better half perfectly.. but there are also more words that define so many points and parts of our lives. Allow me to help you in this.. INFJ DARK SIDE 1.) Invisible. 2.) Mirroring. 3.) Cold. 4.) Judgmental. 5.) Brutal. 6.) Horrifying. 7.) Disassociative. 8.) Hermit. 9.)Strange. 10.)Self-sabotaging. 11.)Self-critical. 12.) Vengeful 13.) Shocking. 14.) Calculated. 15.) Overwhelming. 16.) Misunderstood. 17.)Angrophobia. 18.)Extreme. 19.) Misguided. 20.)Superior. (Sigma Pisces INFJ-T Male) -Tales of A Who 🖤 //_*

This is me 100%. I have walked away from many things even jobs without having one lined up. My faith and wisdom helps me to make decisions even when I am fearful. Each time I use discernment, I always make it to my next chapter. There are so much here that helps me understand myself even more.

I agree! I literally do the same! I'm currently traveling trying to figure out my next life steps and career move as I quit 2 jobs as I disagreed with the values and ethics of the companies. I don't really have any job to come back to when I return home, but I want to pursue something more creative as I've been in healthcare and find it's too draining. Have you found a career or job that suits you? I'm always looking to other INFJs for advice, as other people don't get me (and I barely understand myself sometimes!!)

@@ThoughtsOfAHealingSoul That is wonderful. I did that back in 2021. I was a nomad for the whole year traveling and getting a break. I went to Costa Rica for three months for clarity for my next chapter. It was so confirming what the next chapter would look like while visiting there. I love to help people so coaching was something I found being on the horizon. I was a magnet to people in Costa Rica. I set so many people free to live and be authentically themselves and be free from strongholds. When I arrived back to the US, I enrolled in school to work on my Masters In Psychology with Emphasis in Life Coaching. I graduated back in May of this year and now moving forward in my next chapter. I encourage you to continue to elevate yourself on your journey of self discovery. The things that you would do for free and effortlessly is the thing you are innately born to do.

I'm also very close to walking away from my second job in a year. I'm thinking of taking a year off everything. I'm fed up of living a 'half-life' where the sort of work I do is appreciated by everybody around me... apart from myself. I constantly feel like I'm living a lie.

@@Taurusboy07 Oh wow thanks so much for your reply. I'm so glad that I can relate with the experience of traveling for self-discovery. I'm sad I only have a few weeks left of my travel but it has definitely revitalised me and pulled me out of a depressive rut I was experiencing. That's wonderful that you were able to work towards Life Coaching and Psychology, which was affirmed by your interactions with strangers in Costa Rica! That's incredible! I always keep coming back to Psychology and have considered Life Coaching as well, however after working in health care as a nurse, I have felt incredibly drained from the physical and mental complexity of my patients, that I worry about whether I can handle working as a psychologist. However, psychology and helping people is a passion of mine. I often find that others confide in me (employees, friends) and I love connecting with people on a deep level. I love how you highlight the things you do effortlessly and for free is an innate passion. I love capturing moments via photography and sharing my images. I also love being vulnerable with others to help validate them and make sure they feel heard and accepted. I'm still in the process of reflecting and understanding how I can build a career that best serves my strengths and passions. However, that's the exciting part of discovering. All those failed jobs we did were feedback to get us to where we belong. I'm curious how you found the degree and your perception of the career (as I've been heavily considering it and have even enquired to schools), but I'm still hesitant to pursue the career path due to its intensity. Thanks in advance :)

@@philipofsparta1355 Thanks for sharing! I can totally relate to that feeling you're experiencing. That is exactly how I felt before I left for my travels. I just needed to get away from everyone and have time to be on my own. I highly recommend you follow that desire to travel. It comes with its challenges, but also its benefits! 4 months for me has been a perfect choice to get away from my day-to-day and explore different cultures, meet wonderful people and enjoy living in the moment. I have learnt a lot about myself and found more self-acceptance. And if you aren't able to travel, I hope that you can introspect and surround yourself with the right people that allow you to discover what it is that sparks joy and light!

I want to take this video, print it out into a pamphlet and hand it out to everyone who thinks they know me! Perhaps then, the comments and sideways looks would stop. But then again, probably not. And, BTW, it really doesn't matter. I love who I am! Let your weirdo light shine brightly so other weirdos can find you!

Through more than 15 years (I am 30) of studying myself in constant depression and attention seeking behaviour (which self-aware enough, this probably could be one of them, because why else would I tell about this in a youtube comment section, lol), I found out, that I am an INFJ-Borderliner. I can tell you, that was the most confusing discovery and developement for my friends, family, my psychiatrist and myself. Nowadays, videos like this give me a smile, because I see the point where all the confusion started in the first place and where nothing made sense back then. Wish you all a happy life INFJs and remember, you can't help everyone. One day, you will find a narcissist, that is gonna play you like a tennis ball over the field, be aware of that please.

It is videos like this that help us to truly understand that the emotions thoughts and feelings we process every second of the day,.. are confirmed and feel someone gets us. Lone wolf is not a bad thing,.. being involved in a toxic relationship is detrimental. Inner passion feels like a wound up spring wanting to be released but in the "right" way. Having our own mind on things and not simply following the crowd is am awesome aspect ,..allowing ourselves to A, say it is ok,B. Not concerning ourselves with what others think while at the same time observing and digesting the feelings of others. If we are conscious of doing our best for others , don't go out of our way to upset anyone( although straight talk may not be understood when trying to offer cautionary advice), keep others interests in mind then why waste time on those who have egos, headstrong personalities. I will at times give it back when confronted by rudeness or arrogance as nobody is deserving of such a stance. Journaling is a good way to regain perspective. Love n peace.

@katashley1031

What does your DNA have to od with introversion and extroversion? Those two terms also have nothing to do with being shy or outgoing, by the way. Carl Jung used them to differentiate how we recharge our energy. There are plenty of outgoing and social introverts and shy or quiet extroverts.

those other INFJ we are um not really understood and liked for who we are its uh hard to explain for me personally i had a few friends who call well there exs mainly but when back was against the wall then they admit what they did wrong to me and then brag about it but never really regret it i mean i try to be nice to everyone but people take me for granted and i got fed up and was a bit mean but it wasn't like they didn't have it coming when they did those other INFJ you need to be extremely careful those of you who you think wont gaslight you and use you manipulate you will and you wont know it til its too late i mean people who been close to me i really thought i knew them i dont like to be the bearer of bad news but those who are INFJ be more aware of red flags those around you dont be afraid to ask your friends who been giving you nothing but red flags questions like do you actually like me for me or are you using me sit down talk with them one on one some will treat you like your crazy others will come clean and tell you why
