@@Princess_Kikyo18 first of all, i know how hard it is when u keep trying so hard, but all people do is be judgemental and discouraging. It just sucks. But plz don't let the mindset of people around u, inhibit ur personal growth. I know its easier said than done, but just don't listen to everything they say. Listen to them only when u feel that some advice is really useful. Cuz u know, if u listen to everything they have to say, it will be draining and tiring and u wont be able to 'live' through life. Keep going buddy. Edit : Also, stay safe y'all.

I know this will get lost most likely but screw it I'm writing this cause my brain at 1:45 am needs to. I understand what you mean In this. I look at this, and see how I do life and it just makes me realize I'm both mentally hard but extremely glass-like too. Basically I don't take a lot of things too hard. I like to laugh off what I do stupid or wrong and learn. However, I also look at myself as a college student and I feel like most of my days are just "the same to a degree" like go to school, go to work, use your free time by either studying or doing your own thing cause most likely everyone else is busy. I'm not sure why but everyday just feels the same to a degree. Yeah an event happens to switch it up but it just comes and goes. I can't explain why I just feel lifeless sometimes or like a robot. And why it is just so stupid stressful. Maybe I'm going crazy (sister who is 6 will do that to ya), but I swear I'm just feeling stress sometimes and it's cause of all the deadlines and such..... I'll also say this cause I am this way. The only thing for me that hurts me more than anything is seeing someone mentally hurt. Whether due to a family loss, or just stress I hate seeing it. It's my mission to try to help people when I can. It's sorta the big thing that I still enjoy these days. I hope people can be more willing to help as well. But we like in a hectic world, so its not like that is gonna do much. Sorry for the rant I'm just tired and I needed to just get it off my mind. Thanks for reading all the way if you did.

I'm glad to see that not only I got almost all the habits that damage my brain, I also got all signs that show I'm mentally strong, so I guess there's balance in life ^^. As for the first point, on being in control of your emotions, I'd say it's a good thing (and certainly better than letting your emotions control you)... Until you control them so much that you become numb to them, and start dismissing them as unimportant, privileging reason and logic over emotion (I'm an INTP, btw). While doing so obviously has some perks in not wrecking your relationships with other by busting in anger over an argument, pushed too far, it can also make you feel like an emotionless robot incapable of empathy, always on the lecturing, overanalyzing or judging side, which can be quite off-putting to friends, family, or lovers as well. I'm sometimes guilty of it, and my sister is a living judging-lecturing machine, incapable of seeing my suffering (her own brother) even when I lay it right in front of her. So there must be some sort of healthy balance between not letting your emotions taking control of you, but still not cut them off altogether neither.
@zoeanaam.69962 жыл бұрын
Hmm you did put it good but don't you think that rather than controlling emotion's at any level we should just control the reaction to our emotions.. I'm psychology student btw. When we were having discussion the professor said a different thing, he said even though you control your emotions for a period of time,.you will indeed burst out and it's important for emotions to come out but it is in our hand that how we response in emotional state.
@jjstarrprod2 жыл бұрын
@@zoeanaam.6996 True, it's not possible to fully suppress them, or else they bottle up and can explode in a very destructive burst at some triggering point. Better go get some dance or kickboxing classes to physically let it all out at a chosen time, instead of letting them blow in a friend or family's face.

I feel like the thing that makes it so much worse at the time is people not believing you. And by that i mean when people think your saying something for attention. If im having a good day the thing that can put me down the most is this ^ (An example that happened to me not long ago is me muddling up a sentence and people laughed so i simply said ‘im dyslexic’ which is true and someone even held up 3 fingers and asked how many, i was confused and said back ‘im dyslexic not blind’ and with that they said i was lying. Why the hell would i lie about being neurodivergent, specifically dyslexic) Sorry for the Rant

Ik some dumbos out there who are really like this. Thier presence just irritates the sh!t outta me. But hey, don't ever apologise like u did at the last "sorry for the rant". U aren't forcing anyone to read ur comment, the people who read it, they did it cuz they wanted to - by thier own choice. The comment section is made to express ur opinions, so make full use of it. U never know if someone feels it relatable by reading ur comment and knows they aren't alone which is kind of comforting.
