Well...I would try to find out if there's many people who need the same medicine and if it's high in demand that some of the cost can be covered due to popular demand then I hope that would bring the price down or find out if it can be manufactured somewhere else just as safe and cheaper. Hoping to also talk to the seller to see what the cost of materials and apparatus to make it alone cost compared to the extra additional costs added to make profit and see if there can be a compromise of still paying some profit but just not as much as he would have liked but it still covers his hour's worked and other factors that isn't to gain mega profit. With it being a new product, getting test subjects to try it out will be hard. Discuss any side effects and if they haven't researched this yet, what research would they need? Being a human guinea pig does cost money or a reduction in cost for positive feedback. Ask if the expensive cost has helped gained any interest and mention how many people are interested in the product who feel they need it. How your positive feedback would be an advantage. Although I wouldn't steal, I would try to find laws that are in our favour and campaign for changes in laws and find any possible way of making an acceptable agreement where people get what is good for them when they need it.
