rayquaza boosts psychic types because it affects the pokemon boosted by windy weather (similarly to groudon and kyogre boosting the sunny and rainy weather types)

dodging in raids is key now, the damage recieved is much less than it used to be when you dodged the charged attack.

Naaah I usually drop random shitty IV pokemons in the gyms. In that way when they get knocked out, I can save alot of revives and potions to heal them and I can just simply transfer them immediately

Like DODGING is so underrated in this game it isn't even funny. I also thought I needed a big team to take on groudon because of how Kyogre behaved however I was wrong. Near the end of the Kyogre raids I started to dodge and realized how EASY it was so trying it out on groudon, I've done 9 raids so far all with a team 5 or less and its only been able to defeat 2 of my pokemon, now you're probably saying I have maxed pokemon. Well you'd be wrong its a team of 5 primarina all 3k or less cp NONE maxed out and 1 Salamance, no team up, but mega power up, these raids are extremely easy for me and for me to say that its huge! Ik everyone will say its unreliable however trust me when I say it's better to dodge than not its a game changer 💯 👌

@@xD-yc8hk lol 😆 I dodge and still end up doing more dps because my 1 pokemon hits its charged moves more frequently. 🤣 like I said dodging is SOOO UNDER-RATED I do more damage as my pokemon stays in the battle longer while everyone else is reviving like crazy

I agree that dodging is under rated. My friends and I did a small sample test. During Necrozma, if I dodged with my shadow, I got off more dmg than them. This especially relevant against harder hitting mons like the duo. Everyone thinks, "don't dodge, charge your bar faster!" Well, fainting with a bar that became fully charged sucks! Especially if you dodge, live, charge a little faster, and can use the energy! I noticed it mattered less with non shadow mons. If non shadow, yeah, just take the hit. Spam the screen. But when you got that Xtra punch! And that charge move does Xtra to you as well, better to dodge.

Also! There is the relobby aspect to consider! If someone not in there, the raid boss heals 10%

Oranguru is so fun! It was double buffed this season, with faster Trailblaze and Brutal Swing. Rank #114 in open great league, def worth it for me :D

Good point about it being double buffed! The downside is that the IV floor will be 10/10/10 since it's from field research 😕

Do you need charizard or even charmander for the dynamax raid? These raids so far seem so easy. I know they will eventually get harder.

Thanks for the summary video. I want to know if you can go more in depth into pvp IV importance when it comes to meta picks. For example, Malamar is a meta pick, but would it still be good if Malamar had a bad IV spread? How do weaker Pokémon stack up when they have great IV's? Always thanks for the content!

Great IV's only matther in the highest ranks of pvp, so if you're not aiming for the higher ranks, get you a top 500 IV and you should be good, but of course always aim for the best IV's possible, if you want to know how good is ur poke Iv's, type IV4U on google, its simple to use, type poke name then the IV's and you will know how good ir your pokemon ranked, GL

The impact of having good PvP IVs varies depending on the Pokémon and each specific matchup. There are some great videos that illustrate this difference, but as a general rule, I think it's better to hold off on investing until you get a really good IV spread. One example I can give you is Azumarill. Let's say you powered up the hundo, it would only reach Level 36 before hitting the 1500 CP limit for Great League. However, with a Rank 1 IV spread (0/15/15), you could power it up all the way to Level 45.5. In simple terms, this would give it more attack power and bulk in battle.

Regarding the CP decay of Wobbuffet as a gym defender, are we not supposed to level them up and still put them in gyms? Or is the max cp in general supposed to be kept in mind as a gym defender?

For gym defenders, you generally want to level them up to maximize their full potential. It's more important to focus on their defensive base stats, with CP being a secondary consideration.

The raids simply require you do use a mechanic that has been in the game since raids were introduced, DODGE.

Oranguru is good, but the IV floor from field research is 10/10/10, so this isn't the optimal time to hunt for good IVs imo. Primeape requires an Elite Fast TM for Karate Chop.

Used 2 elite charged tms on my groudon but as a new player i didnt know about iv's so this one is 15/15/9. Should i use all the xl candy on that one or invest 2 more elite tms and max out a hundo? Kind of a lose lose situation but not sure what to do

This is my recommendation: Take the first Groudon to Level 40 and stop there. For your hundo Groudon, give it the Elite TMs and focus on taking that one to Level 50 over time.

You can receive 7km eggs by opening gifts from your friends, but you’ll need to have an open egg slot to get them.
