Thank you for a great advice! Now the only question is how you manage to not think about it when it pops up in your mind :)

Alex Geyzner it's no secret, the best way to learn to control your thoughts is Pranayama and Meditation. That's why every top athlete uses it.

What took my anxiety of depth in the water away was dry simulation of FIM. I think that once you understand the time correlation between the two (considering MDR in water, not pulling an actual rope at dry, etc.) you know more or less how deep you can go in the water. For example, if I can do a comfortable 2min dive at dry, I know I can easily do at least a 1.30 FIM without blacking out, and by knowing the time (or the number of pulls) I know how deep I can go without the need to worry:)

interesting idea, but I'm not sure I fully grasp the concept. I do believe any training that gives you more confidence at depth is useful.

@@freedivepassion9498 My guess is that he means to visualize a dive during dry training. I guess that's if the comfort one has with the "Dive Time + Hypoxia + Urge To Breath + Squeeze + EQ" parameters isn't enough?
