She called me after reading half of it and then read the rest next day. What I did was just sent the letter and left her at that. No texts no callings.

I'm so dumb, as I was reading all these comments, I was wondering why everyone seems to have gone to North Carolina! But NC means No Contact! Well, my ex broke up with me May 7, after 3 1/2 years. I spent the first 8 days begging on text. She didn't want to talk. Then I gave up begging. Two weeks of NC, and she started "chasing me," but I have been ignoring her for 4 months, in an effort to offset my begging. I know I risk her never coming back now, but I accept that risk.

He reached out today on August 8th and we broke up on June 25th! It’s been 6 weeks of no contact he reached out on his birthday 7/17 when he saw that I went radio silent. No contact works. It's been 1 year since I got back with my ex. Things are ok. But don't think it's a big deal. Never put your happiness on someone else. You are hurt because your ego wants validation. This is not love, or passion, is just ego. Even though we're together we never felt the need to talk about the breakup. But you know, right now I don't fully trust her, I don't feel hurt, I just don't trust her 100%. What if she decides to breakup again at anytime? At this point I don't mind too much. To all who dispair. No contact DOES WORK EVEN FOR A GAP AS LARGE AS THREE YEARS. I've been in love with the same woman for 13 years, we have both loved, lived and had families with other people but something pulls us back together. If only for short periods. my ex dumped me after she was going through job and her own family related issues Even though I was there to support her. And my ex did reached , but that's when I messed up I showed her that I was still interested in her, so she told me she's not interested in a relationship and only wants to be friends Ofcourse I declined the offer, but we did had few positive interaction after that But since things were not moving fast, I started overthinking and I showed her how hurt I was after breakup. And I was afraid that she would told me to move on, so out of fear of her response I blocked. But on the same day , I unblocked her because I knew I did something terrible in full of emotions and I really regret it. I apologised to her multiple times, and told her what I did was not a true representation of me and I was just full of emotions and anxiety and messed up She did forgave me , but told me "we're done" and there is no future for us So I guess I only have to move on. My ex has BPD. So I had to reach out one last time. I had to make the last interaction a good one so that's what she remembers. I apologized and told her I shouldn't have blown up and that I was at my limit and I'm allowed to make mistakes. I told her I was in therapy doing DBT/CBT so I could stop vilifying her for her diagnosis. I told her she thinks I don't care but I listed out a lot of reasons as to why I do care. I told her I'm not mad at her for already being with someone else. I told her it's common for someone with BPD to idealize someone else as the cure right after a break up. I told her it's all a simple misunderstanding and that I'm dedicated towards forgiving her. I told her she would feel a lot better if she could think of other reasons why I act the way I act. I told her I also have a wounded inner child and I deserve the same empathy and understanding I'm giving her. I told her she may think that person she is now seeing is the one but I disagree. I said the right person is the one who is dedicated towards understanding you (you have to use the word understanding because people with BPD crave being understood). I told her that no matter how mad she gets I'm dedicated to understanding her. I also told her when she's thinking I don't care to message me. Because I will give her reassurance. I also told her when she's laying in bed at night having impure thoughts about me to give me a call so I can come show her how much I've missed her. I told her to have fun in the meantime with the girl she's seeing ;) She will be back. She's a hurt child at heart. I'm going to be an unperturpable man, have water tight boundaries, I'm going to give her reassurance, and I'm going to lovingly put her in her place. I'm going to have an amazing support group so I can handle the stress that builds up from dealing with this. I won't slip up as bad as I did the last time.

He would love to pick arguments with me for no reason, and I used to say "ya wanna break up?' I was angry for the needless arguments. Then it got to a point where I couldn't take it anymore. This was in our 5th year together. If someone doesn't want me, I DON'T BEG! When I found out what he was with the FUTURE FAKING, Gas Lighting, etc..I RAN.. I learned a lot In the past 11 years, and of course, you helped me a lot. If someone doesn't want you, don't beg them bcse you belittle yourself. If they keep telling you they need more time, give them time BUT HAVE FUN. Don't wait around the phone. Finally, I personally learned to keep off social media in my situation. Yes please. We got back together a week later. Lasted a 1.5 weeks, then dumped again. Said she wasn't a priority and idk. She said she still had my number if... But didn't finish the sentence. I went no contact and it lasted 10 months... he never contacted me. It was me who then messaged him. He was glad I did, he called, said he's single... I lost my ex - i used these ideas and they worked a couple of times with a few weeks silence and then a proper breakup happened - I ignored her for 7 months and then text her after talking to her in the street and then sent sporadic unanswered messages. I suggested we should get back together and that we had good times and she had it easy for a single mum who integrated me into her childrens life for a few years. My local team won a cup and I posted my pictures on social media that she saw through a tag ( she blocked me after) and then I sent a joke picture to her from the event (she missed out on going as I could have taken her family) 3 days later I got an informal call from the police asking not to contact her again - it coincided on a day she returned to her stressful job after a holiday . I have maintained no contact since 🤦🏻‍♂️

Hang on, do no contact and binge watch coach Lee. I also made a list of every negative trait my ex displayed. My break up was 6weeks ago and initially I was devastated because he walked away with no explanation after a year. I did everything I just told you to do and I stayed in no contact. At this point I’m looking back and seeing that this happened for a reason and I no longer feel that awful compulsion of wanting him back. Now I think if anyone could leave me that quickly and that cruely they don’t deserve me.

I really like you and I miss my Dad and my late husband who both made total sense to me. They've both been gone for a long time and I have always been about boundaries and mutual respect but developed an anxiety disorder and my psychiatrist just turned into my best friend I can't see this never ending conversation where we often disagree and always one more word ever ending. Then he ghosted me. I have my own life but what an idiot we were supposed to go to a concert together the tickets arrived and I can;t remember how many times I phoned him. Loved and lost and always will love this person but totally fucked up .... but so did he. Love that Paul Simon song The Myth of Fingerprints that;s why we must learn to live alone. Would not normally be aware of your universe but you cheer me up no end despite romantic catastrophes!!!!!

Hi Coach! Could you make a video on relationship anxiety? I feel like that is something people don't talk about that much and I feel that it's more common then what we think and how much of an affect that can have on a person to make the descision to break up with someone that is a good partner to them. Just thinking about this quote I saw recently that hit very hard on me in my current situation as I'm the one that has been dumped: "Yes toxic relationships are hard, but do you know what else is hard? Your first healthy relationship after a toxic one. No one talks about how hard it is to unlearn all the toxic behaviours you adopted as coping mechanisms. How difficult it is to convince yourself that everything's fine and that you are safe now and how long it can take to accept the real love. Hope you see this and thank you for helping me through my pain, anxiety and sorrow with your videos.

me and her started a break on the 4th of july, kept texting her and being needy for about 2 weeks and then i called her because she blocked me on everything except on a few things. then she answered really angry and ended it there. texted her my final message and have been in no contact for about 2 1/2 weeks. haven’t heard a peep from her but she’s doing things that she didn’t like and hangin out with the wrong people bc of this possible rebound relationship. i was with her for almost 3 years (september 1st is our 3 years) been feeling better but keep getting told it’s her u know. hopefully it will work!!

@@3lewi the weekend was great we talked for hours and caught up with everything that has happened since the break up. Talk about why the break up happened and it was a blessing in disguise. We both missed each other and she actually tried to reconcile earlier but I was in my feelings breaking no contact like an idiot but I started over and continued working on myself. Coach Lee is spot on with the ebuk. I just wish I had been more disciplined. She actually said what I wanted to ask before I even asked. We were always honest with each other and even though we are just taking it one day at a time the love is definitely there. We both acknowledged our faults and identified what we need to work on. I don't know where we will end up but we are both relieved we are talking again with more openness and just enjoying the moment. I dated she dated but it just wasn't the same. We built a strong friendship before we were official. She tried to friend zone me and I politely rejected and told her I have enough friends. We couldn't just be friends. By the end of this weekend we both committed to working on being better with each other and we didn't want to feel the pain of separation again. To be continued.........

I ended it all because he was playing games. I wasn't taking him for granted, it was the other way around. So be careful how you use this advice if you are the one who is in the wrong. Hey Coach Lee, me and my ex are on speaking terms again after breaking up over a month ago. I followed the no contact rule when she broke up with me and eventually she ended up reaching out to me within a week. Recently I stumbled on your videos and also did some research on how to get my ex back because we were talking and I felt like we were on track to get back together. She is someone that needs attention to be attracted to someone and so I have kept the communication going we even talked about meeting up and getting intimate but things happened and those plans fell through. She has now let me know that she is in a situation with another guy who she had gone on dates with in the past but nothing came of it. They stopped talking for a while and he reached back out to her to hangout this coming weekend and she asked me for advice on it because she felt he was playing games with her because he would talk to her a lot then stop and start again. I find myself trying to watch this and focus meanwhile experiencing a mini panic attack from my anxiety over my on and off person, and I just feel my heart literally through my chest as it races like a heart attack I assume. I hold my hand over my heart and I just apologized for not being in control of my emotions and for putting my heart through stress over something so pointless . I wish I was what people consider to be normal. I don’t process break ups well or ghosting as I have BPD and was recently diagnosed (one of the symptoms be strong/enhanced fear of abandonment ). The relationship went to hell but was heaven on earth . It was a safe haven from the world . At least for me it was .

It was totally out the blue and was the worst wake up call, and am in complete no contact . We routinely were hanging out and sleeping over daily and now it’s just me and my thoughts . He still watches my story , and Im watching Dylan James on KZbin . I highly recommend watching him and Kim Velez on attracting your ex back and shifting your focus back and power back to you. I now can say even being diagnosed with borderline personality disorder after going through my heart break (been a rough 3 weeks with this behavior ), that I can say I feel so full of life and have been able to eat knowing my situation and circumstances don’t matter and feeling the joy of knowing putting myself on a pedestal will attract better results and fast results . Being hopeless and not feeding myself due to how low I reallly was ( it felt so hard to live and survive at work) wasn’t going to get me to where I wanted to be with him. I’m excited to come back and update myself on these comments . I highly recommend law of assumption. Sammy Ingram is also a good teacher. We can do this Joanne . He’ll be back as a better version of himself , time is a illusion. We weren’t born on earth with a clock, we invented one . Don’t listen to limiting beliefs as it’s been programmed in us from our surroundings and other people . We can have limitless/endless possibilities on how situations can turn around . People break up and get back together all the time. That can be our story too, our subconscious mind is our simulation to our 3D surroundings, the more you feel like a loser, situations will present themselves that make you a loser because it is a belief that now you have to experience to make it true . The more we feel like winners and focus on our self concept and reprogramming our subconscious and limiting beliefs would we see actual results that back up the belief of being a winner. I’m happy to see he’s still watching me even if it means we’re not in contact bc my belief says he’s still worried about my life and will reach out bc I’m not attacking and forcing myself on him anymore (I was a creep tbh I would show up if he wouldn’t respond and bombard him with messages). Now I take my power back and I know he would have to reach out due to being out in the cold and me growing more attractive due to my new self concept and mysterious.
