We all know someone with psychopathy.
psychopathyis....
But few know the truth about it. We’re helping change that… by helping you know the signs. Know about treatment options and resources. And know you’re not alone.

Mary is the author of two memoirs about her experience being married to a psychopath. The first is ‘The Bigamist - the true story of a husband’s ultimate betrayal’ is about her six year relationship with Will Jordan, a bigamist and con man who actively impregnates women to rip them off for money (published in 2008). The second is ‘The Psychopath: A True Story’ which details her recovery (physically, mentally, emotionally and financially) after being freed from his coercive control, the work she had done to try and protect future victims from the clutches of her ex and people like him, as well as what he did after being deported from UK jail back to the USA. It also covers some of the techniques that psychopaths use to manipulate people (from gaslighting/love bombing, to control dramas/language patters etc), as well as what makes people vulnerable to them in the first place.
Mary is a full-time author, speaker and writing coach from Edinburgh, Scotland (UK). She speaks on surviving adversity as well as advocating for better understanding of psychopathy. She says, “With better research and understanding into this condition - particularly in educating people to recognise the signs, and diagnosing it earlier to support parents raising a disordered child - we can ensure a safer society for everyone.”

The big takeaway here is that maintaining a positive attitude; the Zebra that got away from the Lion perspective is likely the best outcome for mental health.

That's sickening, absolutely nauseating. Good on you for making it out of this, you are so so strong. I had an ex who may have had some light traits and even that destroyed my sense of self for years and I still struggle to have autonomy and self confidence to this day.

So many parallels to my mother's situation. My father was raised in a religious household, but otherwise he would have gone this far. He had a few affairs I know about, but not as nearly as many as that man. It is extremely hard to be the offspring of a psychopath as well. You are left with guilt of wondering if you inherited anything malicious, the fear for your children, and people questioning why you have made such a separation away from your father. People often think I am disrespectful or that my mother has brainwashed me into not wanting to have anything to do with him. However, I was almost sexually abused and the cards fell when my brother and mother had to pull me away from him and took us away to hid with help from people from church. The worst part is my brother and I were so young and psychopaths are so charming and manipulative that my brother no longer understands that he was protecting me and what danger I was in. Psychopaths are dangerous and whether it is their fault or not, is not even an issue to me. The only concern I have is how to protect yourself and leave the rest of the judgement to God.

One of the characteristics of psychopaths is their inability to feel guilt so the fact that you do means you're most likely a normal person.

Psycopaths dont feel guilt or fear. It's the lack of those two exact things that make them psycopaths in the first place. So if you inherit psycopathy you wont realy feel those things. Their lack of fear or anxiety is what makes them come accross as so confident and charming. But it's also what makes them not care about consequences sometimes.

My ex alienated the child from her mother too, and from me. Its gross what they do. He accused the mother of coaching the child to say she was molested by him. I never really believed it was true, but after seeing how they don't have care for others and the horrid things they're happy to do, I started to think maybe its true, he actually did... then threw the mother under the bus to cover it up

You appear to be misinformed -- children of Psychopaths usually aren't Psychopaths themselves in most cases. In fact, the children usually have CPTSD from growing up in chaotic environments. Please educate yourself.

What does she mean the sexual health clinic wouldn’t test her for everything? They always do accordingly after a consultation.

Just follow her and see another of her video. He said he worked as an IT person in a government secret service. But everything he said was a lie. His real career was to impregnate several women (at the same time) and manipulated them to get money.

As someone who feels deeply for others while also being viciously adamant about studying and preparing for the future, it's painful for me to hear about the knowledge of these people. It makes me wonder if, by cognitive dissonance, people incorrectly associate unloving people with intelligent people. That's the worst deception. There are people who are both more intelligent than you could imagine and also more loving than you can imagine at the same time. Sadly, sometimes psychopaths take advantage of these people and twist their reputation to look good for them instead, without even fully knowing, themselves, everything they are doing. One of my beliefs is that when we are willing to learn from or pray for our enemies, we learn new things ourselves. Seeing psychopaths get healed (which is the main point of Chr________y which people will try to hide) will probably provide the people who genuinely care a new understanding of the human heart and psyche. Bless everyone here, may you have the most fulfilling of lives, peace.

So they lived in *her* house, i.e. he didn't contribute towards buying the property, and she still agreed to sell it and give *him* the proceeds even though he was supposedly an IT professional, some who should have been making a very good income himself. Why didn't she insist they go to the police if, as he claimed, someone was threatening their children?! I'm just trying to point out to the many red flags this woman ignored. When she says in a previous segment that she had no clues of his psychopathy, I think she's simply telling us that she was extremely gullible and vulnerable to manipulation.
