NF has helped me thru alot of terrible times. I had to explain to my mother and husband to understand that he is aggressive but this is his therapy. He gives me confidence in speaking out about mental health. If I may suggest, stopping here and starting from his earlier work. In order :) He tells his story and how he is coping in each stage of his life. "I use music as medicine." (alot of people, I am sure, feel the same way) "You having even been in my book but you act like you read my pages." (I hear all the time from people, I didnt know until I experienced it.) "If God ain't real, real isn't." Amazing

To give you some perspective of my adoration of Nate. There are only two musicians that have had SUCH an impact on my life. I grew up with James Taylor (and, he STILL has such an impact on my life, and always will!). I'm "growing up" again with NF/Nate, and I hold them both equally in my heart for how they have changed my life. Not to mention ... showing my age! Bless them both.

Some Hype only songs Destiny One hundred Returns- shouts out his oh lord song- “trash bag is full of my ashes” one of his best songs made Statement - homage to drake and eminem Know - homage to 21 pilots and eminem Notepad No excuses Options Layers Thats a joke Real- homage to lil wayne (feed me rappers or feed me beats) then he adds feed me both of them Motivated Turn the music up Intro song - Intro 2 song - he writes all the lyrics from his therapy session album on walls and shouts out his wake up song Grindin All I have- introduced you to him and his music

Can I just say without sounding racist that it's really refreshing to see someone who looks and sounds like you appreciating good rap lyrics. I didn't know how you would react to this song because it really has nothing to do with therapy or self-betterment or anything like that, this is basically one of those tracks where he's showing off what he can do, but you still find things in it that can be applied to the average person's life and lead to success. Instead of just saying oh he's cocky on this song and there's not really a deeper message, you're applying it to healthy self-confidence and I love that about you. Your reactions are always therapeutic, inspirational, or both. Keep doing your thing.

You should definitely check out the artist "nothing, nowhere." His music helped me vent out so much hatred and so much trauma that I had internalized for so long that I genuinely think his music saved my life. A good start would be "barely bleeding" from his latest album, "Trauma Factory".

Great reaction, just found you channel today, and watched all the NF reactions. Keep it up. I know you’re getting close to Intro 3 which everyone is excited to see your reaction to that one, before you do it though do “Lost in the Moment” it’s a conversation with another character in NFs world, he calls him freedom. It’s pretty much freedom pleading with Nate to face his issues. In intro 3 Nate takes freedoms advice and faces the root of his issues. Keep up the good work! New subscriber here 👊🏼

I never thought about the symbolizism of the plane before but I am thinking it represents his life journey that perhaps he had seen as a total wreck. But now he has woken up to the fact that every thing is ok. He will safely arrive at his destination. The two lines I most relate to are "You (God) gave me music as medicine" So true! God and music was how I got through my childhood. And "I stand out cause I wear my garbage!" Ditto! I grew up in a house of pretemders who cared more about looking good than being honost or doing the right thing. I don't ever want to live like that again which is why I fight so hard for my integrity!!

I'm 55 yrs young and I been around before The Sugarhill Gang. I've heard all types of underground Hip Hop Flows and Cadences. Nathan is Clean, Holsom, Fresh, Transparent, Thoughtful, I can go on, I've followed him since his Lps and Moments Album. We all have influences because of Genarations, Marshall is obviously Nathans inspiration ( as millions of others) but Nathan has put Blood, sweat and tears into his Destiny to be used of God in this Fashion through Mental Health and Realmusic from the Soul that reaches Millions of Spirits.

Just finding your videos on NF and I’m telling you, you HAVE to do Intro III. It’s one of my favorites psychologically. Nate personifies his depression/anxiety and argues with “him”. His depression/anxiety claims that “he’s” the reason Nate makes the music he does and gets into a heated fight with him. You won’t regret it!

6:11 a fun refference I've spotted is NF holding a chainsaw, probably inentionally tying into him being compared to Eminem, in Eminem's old days, he used to go out on scene in a hockey mask and holding a chainsaw Another thing is that girl sitting across from NF in the end is the same girl from Story and I think it might be intentional, I really wouldnt put it past NF... but it might just be a friend of his that he puts in the videos
