I get that it's not always that simple, he was the father of her kids but I think it has a lot to do with our toxic idea of "lifestyle" and "having it all" as well. She probably didn't want to part with her very comfy lifestyle and reputation and even though that's definitely mostly her vanity... that is also something that we are raised by our culture to admire so I think it's a symptom of our times as well.

In college I took several psychology classes in preparation for a career in social services. Needless to say I changed my major. One thing that was always stressed and I found to be true! Open marriages never work......especially when children are involved! It warps the kids minds. Even without the kids, there is always some measure of jealousy! On one end or the other.

Exactly. He wants a open marriage. Sabrina should have made arrangements with her husband to have partner of her own. If divorce is not the thing for them . For community and kids they can be parents yet have their own lives. Thy just have to do a mutual consenting agreement of some sort,stay away with their partners and meet occasionally for kids. After a certain point of time thy will eventually move on and want divorce.

Open marriage or open relationships usually have the parties actually know who the partners are. So if she is sleeping with someone he doesn't know, it's not open. Open relationships are bad anyways as people get hurt.

This whole open marriage thing makes no human behavioral sense. It's usually the woman being a damned doormat for some man who treats her like shit, while "he" "openly" fucks anybody and everybody. And this fucker was rubbin' it her face, tellin' her about what her "best friend" jyst did to him. This whole open marriage thing sounds like one-sided (male) garbage.

No, it's describing exactly what she is. "open relationship" is irrelevant. I know we like to pretend that morality no longer exists but facts don't care about your feelings. Noun: adulterer (plural adulterers, feminine adulteress); One who commits adultery: a spouse who has sex with a non-spouse.

If you ever find yourself thinking about doing something you don't want your children, family, friends to know about... stop. That means you are about to do something evil that you will be ashamed of later. Secrets are always exposed and you will always regret living a lie especially for some cheap temporary thrill. Life is short, eternity is forever.

Why do people think that murder is a better option over divorce? These people should have the common sense that if your marriage is on the rocks and your spouse dies, you are a primary suspect.
@SaxonC
@SaxonC 6 жыл бұрын
This is why a marriage is between two people.. You start bringing in others, what do you think is going to happen? If you want to open a marriage, it’s better to not get married. This is always for selfish reasons and in the end, their children lost both parents because they couldn’t keep their zippers up and legs closed.

The apology shows Jonathon obviously realised he'd been manipulated (by sex and promises of a future together) into killing him by Sabrina - who just wanted the money house and kids to herself. She was still manipulating him in the recordings of their conversations by saying he must have wanted her to be with her husband. I bet she thought he would take the whole wrap if they were caught (because a beautiful blonde woman can't be a con artist can they?). She is a user like other ones who con guys into doing things like this.

this is why communication is important in relationships !! open relationships can work if you talk things out, make rules, boundaries and don’t break them. robert should’ve told her about the open marriage thing before they tied the knot and sabrina should’ve talked about her feelings.

You see, there's the issue. She tried to play it off like she was okay with an open relationship rather than saying "Sorry but this doesn't make me comfortable". If she had been honest, I'm almost sure that none of this would have happened in the first place. It's amazing what jealousy can do to a person.
