I can't believe there are so many atheists in these comments complaining about him mentioning God. Atheism is just where you deny the existence of a god. It doesn't give you a right to insult others. You could find many people you love on the way to finding the one person your gonna marry and then say that person ends up cheating on you you'll have wasted your life waiting for that one individual at that one moment. I have to say... every time I watch one of Adonde's videos I gain more and more respect for him. He handles situations in a way I wish I had the guts to. I was in the same situation. A christian girl with a christian boyfriend who was kinda wanting to throw down. I was raised as the pastor's daughter and knew that if I were to follow through with it, it would be wrong. So, I didn't do it. And he's right. Waiting is hard, especially when you have a great guy who's willing. But it will be worth it in the end. Now MY prom's coming up in November and I'll be going with my virgin boyfriend. We discussed our views on 'doing the thing kids do on prom night' when we first started dating, so we've got our plan and we're sticking to it: waiting.

Before people even say it: yes I am a christian, no I won't kick your dog if you aren't. Certain events have taken place in my life that make it impossible to deny that God exists. Yes, my upbringing had a lot to do with it, but most of it was from my own experiences and my family's. Before my dad was saved and became a pastor, he had to deal with his own dad committing suicide and leaving him with this note: 'life is just death waiting to happen'. So my dad figured 'if that's true then why am I still here?'. The next month, my dad sets up for his own suicide. He waits in his truck for an oncoming semi and thinks 'it'll look like an accident. no one will know'. He begins to pull his truck out into the highway to meet the semi and says 'God, if you're real... this would be a good time to show up'. My dad to this day says he heard these words as if someone were in his truck with him: 'follow me'. Without God he had no hope or purpose in his life. But now with this knowledge that God was there, he had a place to start. If you had told my dad 10 years ago that he would be the pastor of a church, he probably would have slapped you.

They tell me I'm wrong and their right. I'm ignorant while their "enlightened" in some way. Its funny though, how whenever I attempt to get any decent explanation of their beliefs they have no good reason to call themselves atheists. Despite the fact that they posture themselves all scientifically they have no real evidence to back themselves up. Being an atheist is not believing in god. This has led me to believe that it is nothing but a stereotype with no evidence behind it as I have never actually heard anyone tell an atheist they are going to hell. If you have been told this however then then the person who told you is part of the problem. I don't have a problem with Swoozie or his videos. I enjoy them actually. I used to think exactly like you sWooZie. I always said to myself that if the girl wanted us to wait for marriage then I'd be cool with that, but that I would also be cool if she wanted to do it before marriage. I met a girl (who became my girlfriend for a bit more than a year) and she wanted to do it before and because I was cool with it back then I agreed, but later on I realized that it wasn't the best for me and it didn't make me happy, but now I understand Gods purpose with saying that we should wait. I have realized that God wants the best for me and therefore I asked God for forgiveness and chose to wait from now on. I also see God as a parent that will love you no matter what you do, and for the same reason I know that parents only say things because they want the best for you and protect you, I chose to listen from now on because God knows best.

One Sunday at church, when I was about 15 (I'm 21 now), our pastor asks me to come up to the podium and help him with a demonstration (why he picked me I have no idea). Anyway, he has one of those single wrapped Reese's cups and asks if I want it. I say "sure" but before he hands it to me, he says, "Wait a minute now, I gotta inspect this first" and he takes a big bite out of it and says, "here do you want it now?" I look at him like he's crazy and he puts it to the side. So he takes another, unwraps it, and says, "oh yes, this one's very nice" and literally just kisses it all over. He continues to do this with a couple more until he gets to the last one. "This one..." he says, "is special, it's never been opened, like it's been saved just for you." He puts it with the rest and goes, "Now tell me, which one do you want?" The point is, you wouldn't choose the candy that's been slobbered on, or half-eaten, especially not when you can have the one saved for you, so why would you choose any different for your mate? "Oh but what about sexual chemistry and blah blah blah." I know God has the right man for me and because of that, I'm not at all worried about what our sex life will be like. Our relationship will be built around God, not sex, and that's what will make it work.

ok sWooZie, this is the video that really made me think. esp at the end (not the rip wife in half part) but about just because you have done it doesn't mean you have to continue to do it. I lost my v-card at 18 I'm 23 now and last year (2012) i got saved and baptized and since then i haven't wanted to do ya know and i wanted to wait till i was married before i did ya know again. my current bf now is respectful of that so he doesn't try to pressure me into it. but lately i have been jumping back and forth, wondering if it really mattered or not and this video really put it in perspective for me so thank you very much.

That's amazing Adande. I'm a Christian too, and I'm home schooled. I'm in a bunch of Christian programs to keep me in check and I have a lot of people who expect me to stay strong. It's important to show you can be trusted to live out your christianity even when people aren't there to make sure you are. I'm thankful you stayed strong and can be considered a model for all of us to follow (for the most part). Don't ever become spiritually deaf though, keep obeying His voice.
