To those 12-15 year olds reading this; honestly, don’t even worry about losing your virginity (speaking from someone almost twice your age). Honestly, worry about getting good grades, making good friends and influences in your life, going into clubs at school, learning new hobbies/learning different skills that’ll be practical or fun, studying hard, getting a good GPA (I got a 3.8/4 in HS), studying for those AP classes (if you’re doing them)/AP tests for college credits, going into college/studying well for the SATs, figuring out what you’re going to do, apply for colleges, get scholarships (I even got a $20,000 one-yes!); most of all, enjoy life and smell the roses. The thing is, you can do ACADEMICALLY WELL without worrying so much about something so trivial. Don’t worry about something so silly and trying to be cool, really.

I'm glad sex is steadily being normalised, it's a normal part of life. Besides, what if you married someone and then didn't end up having any sexual compatibility with them? However i am a firm believer in premarital sex otherwise when people marry someone else they can't be sure they are sexually compatible. Remember that weather you choose to loose your virginity early or when you get married remember that male or female virginity is something you can never get back. I am not religious at all but I really respect your views and enjoy the messages in your videos. I think people should wait as long as they can stand to wait regardless of religious persuasion because life is just too messy when we're in high school and college and sex causes so many complications. Nah :P I consider myself an atheist. I'm not anti-religion but I'm not convinced by it either so I don't believe it myself but I don't mind what other people believe, of course. If you're interested, this is my view. I'm an atheist not because I am opposed to the idea of deities existing but basically because I am satisfied by the evidence that science provides to explain our existence without the necessity for a deity's role in that story. I see religion as a device humans used to try to understand the world before we had facts and evidence that we could understand and build informed theories from. Religion has no factual basis so I'm personally not convinced by it at all. However, that is not to say that I straight out oppose it or claim it isn't real. What do I know? I'm just one person and when I die maybe I'll be like "My bad! The Jews (or whichever religious group) were right!"or something haha! If there was solid scientific evidence of a god then I would change my view and accept that I was wrong and there is one! It is only rational. :) However, when I say this most people just say "but the bible is evidence" which it is actually not. When people say there is 'evidence' of religions being factual they point out a bunch of random unexplained circumstances and deduce that they must be evidence of a god simply because they're unexplained. Conformation bias explains why people who believe in ghosts claim to see them and why people who believe in gods claim to feel or speak to them or see evidence of their existence which others cannot. Confirmation bias is where people who want to believe something are so certain that something is real that whenever they find anything they cannot explain they assume that it is evidence of that which they believe in. When people seek to understand things they cannot explain they prefer simple and understandable explanations like "god did it" or "it was magic" or "the lights are flickering on and off because there is a ghost here" as opposed to considering that there may be something more logical at work which they don't know about yet. Confirmation bias means that no matter what you say the person favors and interpretation of information which they think supports their argument even if the logic doesn't really follow. Confirmation bias is the reason I no-longer want to have friendly debates with passionately religious people because the confirmation bias allows them to reject any information which does not support their arguments and grab at straws to build arguments out of information which sounds reasonable but is not actually evidence or facts. It means that there is no point in having a conversation as you're reasoning sensibly and they (big generalization, I know) don't know how. Like I said, if someone gave me a proper argument for the existence of such things I would change my mind because that is only rational but there is no way to have a friendly debate with people who believe that nothing you say can change their minds because such people aren't thinking rationally. :P On the same hand, that is perfectly okay! People take comfort in their beliefs and if it makes them feel nicer to not question them then that's no skin off my nose, I just can't relate because I love asking questions and learning new things. :) Disclaimer lol: I'm not saying what I think is right, of course. This is just my opinion and I am more than happy to discuss with people as long as the discussion is friendly. I would never tell someone their beliefs are wrong or try to change them and I only expect the same level of respect in return.
