Looks great! I was wondering if you ever considered adding snap- in fins (either a center fin or a tri fin configuration) to help tracking. I have no idea how that might be accomplished, but then I don't have the engineering skills you do. Thanks for continuing to share!

Thanks for watching and your support. I did a sail boat and I added dagger boards on the side, and that will help if it is windy. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGmUc3hqZr2eercsi=SJMgYzCCVQb0PTYY For this Gen 23/24, the easiest is to add the fins at the rear similar to Tucktec. It doesn't cost much to do that.

Is the material coroplast as usual? Can you please tell in details about the material please?

Like how thick is that etc....

I use a 5'x10' 6 mm thick coroplast. I (also my friends) have built boat using 4 mm thick 4'x8' coroplast. This boat can be built with a 4 ft wide coroplast. I fused two sheet of coroplast to reach the length of 13.5'

This kind of boat is relatively slow. The longest time I was on the river with this type of boat is about 3.5 hours, and traveled 5 miles only. The video is here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fH3FoKqmgq-eibcsi=8Pv9GbmSC9HCGn_O At my age (will be 70 in a few months 🙂), My trip will probably be limited to 4 hours. Because sitting on a kayak for that long will be challenging by itself 🙂. I do plan to travel to Asia and do such kayaking trips next year. I am still working on designing that boat. Yes, that design will be more hydro-dynamic and should be a bit faster than the G23, 24. G23, 24 are for the beginners and primary stability is more important. Cheers!
