Seems a nice little mini chainsaw Terry, Even though its got its own oil reservoir its still worth checking occasionally that the chain oil is coming through the pump and onto the chain. They are ideal to carry in the boot of your car for as you say, picking up logs and cutting to size to fit in the boot of your car. I would have preferred it to have had a chain brake fitted, but for the price of these things you cant grumble.

@Jimmy.Plot.41.b when you release the trigger the chain stops Jimmy, the kick back would be minimal on these small saws. The motor worked well.

Pity there's no guard on the top of the chain. Seems essential to me for these domestic sort of mini-saws.

I was meaning that most of the people buying these will not have a clue how to use it. There are several on the HS&E banned list because of no guard and/ or safety brake.

i've recently purchased a new mini chain saw. my battery went missing from my previous chain saw.( daughter moving stuff about during a previous stay in hospital.). this time i made sure i got one with a lockable case. lol...............brian

No option for the UK Terry?!?!? as you say they are awesome for traveling around in the back of the car, no leaks or smells of pre mix. Dose the oiler leak in sttorage like many small petrol saws?

@Coxeysbodgering they have now sent me the link for the UK mate, it's now in the discription. Would have been nice to have it in a case. I will check for leaks at the weekend. it's in the locked cupboard for now.
