A little late finding this. Your videos have been a terrific add-on to my physio sessions weekly. I'm into Week 9, working hard, truly. It can get to be a grind, and I can see how easy it is to want to put off exercises for a day or two, to get "lazy". I've been grinding. I'm at 103 with 0 extension. I'm did 8 minutes (continuous, forward) on the stationary bike yesterday. My physio gal (wonderful young tiger that she is) put me on the bike last week, and I was scared to death, frankly. But it's all mental, huh? I pushed through, did about 20 forward revolutions. She'll be impressed, I hope, with the 8 minutes when I see her this week. The wall crawl you show here has been a breakthrough. I've been doing it regularly for about two weeks after she introduced me to it. I think it's pushing my flexion. Surely, I'll be beyond 103 when she sees me this week. The ice packs continue, maybe twice a day. I think the swelling has been less and less. I sprinkle in other exercises you've suggested during the day. It's a full time job, really. I'll move ahead to Week 9, etc., and see what I need to be doing beyond these. Thanks, young man. I'm admittedly frsutrated that I'm not at 120+ yet - but I'll get there. /M.

Keep at it! As long as you’re doing what you can, within the PT’s guidance, you should continue to see improvements. Remember, the swelling can persist for a full year! Full extension is very important early, and you’ve achieved 0 degrees! Great! While 120 flexing is often the “goal” we also have to look at where you were beforehand and what you are comparing it to (the other knee). Keep it up!

On my first visit to an orthopedist he advised me to lose weight. He did *not* say, "Let's schedule a knee replacement." (Of course he discussed a lot more with me, my X-rays, how exercise safely, weight loss goals, etc. I like his approach! And thank you, Tim!)

Was a bit surprised that losing weight and following your instructions could make such a difference. Thank you!
