this ones is a hard one for me you say to turn this off if you see horizontial banding or lines across the screen typically in the sky if you look up and pay attention if i have this setting off i can see horizontial banding in some games when i look up at the sky if i turn this setting to high it mostly goes away but im not sure if im losing detail i cant tell

Did you played RIME? It doesn't support HDR but when you force it ... oh boy.. and this music...... you should try this! So so nice :)

HawkEye1194 sorry my friend I don't have a switch but would say your best bet is to turn down the backlight, turn off extended dynamic range as well as advanced contrast as it's a soft image and will be very aliased and jaggy on a 4k display

I have been running with gamma at + 2 I'm not too for sure or two known with messing with the settings I got my Xbox One X TV pubg just for the game I love it I haven't even really checked out what the Xbox One X is capable of talking about game wise but thank you for the video just wanted to try to get my screen a little bit more brighter and look a little bit more crispy for pubg GrimmeyN3twork86 all I eat is chicken dinners

NICK #2 You are right Nick it is a darker game and being HDR it's hard to be flexible with settings as they need to be at a certain value if you go below that value then HDR will be compromised. Thank you for your question and for checking out the videos and channel

Whisper Status 74 of course... is there any way that I could change the video settings for that game and be able to light change to a different setting or would I just have to go in my settings and change them all completely four different games

NICK #2 unfortunately you'd have to do it every time manually , it's beyond annoying to change for every game but it's kind of always been that way

chunksterr in my opinion the 930e has more clouding and blooming due to its peak brightness and edge lit backlight

chunksterr nope the Xbox one X does not support Dolby vision, you would have to buy a specific player.

Hi there. Gamma on plus 1 or 2 doesn't make HDR more bright. It doesn't work that way. Gamma on plus just makes the picture washed out, and gamma od minus 1 or 2 gives depth to the image, makes deep contrast. Also, on my 930E, the graphics mode doesn't have X-tended Dynamic Range.

Tomek Żyła completely understand that my friend however increasing gamma and or brightness wasn't to increase HDR but to brighten the overall image of an HDR game without a gamma slider. I always run gamma -1 and 0 for HDR content. Thanks as always

Yes, the X930E is an amazing tv. However, the halo around bright objects sometimes makes me angry. Don't get me wrong, the blacks are awesome in this tv, almost like in OLED, but sometimes the blooming is really bad.

yo im wondering if you can help me out this has been bugging me alot do you know how to make this game fit the screen at 1080p on this tv without it running off the edges i can only get the game to fit the screen perfectly at a 4k resolution which is stupid it just goes to wide mode when i play it at 1080p and full mode when 4k any help would be most appreciated thanks

ive figured it out i tried changing the hdmi cable from the input port on the tv from ARC hdmi port 3 to hdmi port 2 and it works fine this way it must be the ARC hdmi port it musnt display the correct screen size for 1080p thanks for willing to help

This tv is the dogs balls i love it i play on a standard picture setting and have no issues with online gaming the pictures more vibrant and accurate i own on pubg lol i can tell no difference between standard mode and game mode apart from the picture quality. Game mode washes the image out which i dont like but for input lag u cant tell the difference to be fair i think i have my settings down to a T it took a while but now its just right i dont need to change the settings for any game apart from when i need to enable 4k and HDR for single palyer games i leave HDR and 4k off for competitive games like pubg as i think it makes the game look worse less responsive and not as smooth as playing at 1080p SDR i just leave HDR and 4k for single player games maybes the odd multiplayer. Plus with the xbox one X the enhancements and the supersampled image is good enough on this tv plus all the other tvs features you can tweak epspecially X tended dynamic range which sort of acts like HDR. My picture really pops on this tv on pubg without 4k and HDR plus pubg has came along way since you uploaded this video and now it looks even better frame rate graphics stability also does this tv do 4k at 60hz for gaming or 4k 30hz im sure it does 1080p at 60hz which feels real responsive

MaDDeXTeR1 that's what it's all about my friend!! " The dogs balls"😂😂😂 customization is key to get what you want in terms of the picture that you specifically want. Try motion interpolation for in pic settings such as cinema pro for single player campaigns to give you that 240hz monitor feel. Game mode which is useful for input lag and fast multiplayer games also turns off a good deal of processing which can hurt or wash out the image. There is no right or wrong just what you like which makes it the DOGS BALLS!!! Thank you for the awesome comment and for hanging with the channel

I play with the gamma at -1 and black level at 49.i don't think it's too dark at all. Plus I have my color at 72 haha
