By the way: You can of course leave the TUNING control in the middle position and transpose the pattern upwards in PATTERN PLAY MODE. (Hold down PITCH, then select the target pitch.) But I prefer to work in PATTERN WRITE MODE in order to have constant access to the programming and not have to switch back and forth. In addition, you would have to re-enter the pitch before each playback.
