Was on a cruise several years back and Mr Speenberg was one of the comedians on board. Was lucky enough to be in the front row and get picked on by him. Nothing disrespectful, typical male nursing jokes. Ran into him in the buffet the next day and he took the time to say hi and said “I just want to make sure you know I respect the hell out of what you do.” He’s a good dude.
@cedarpoplar7443
@cedarpoplar7443 4 жыл бұрын
🤣 so what exactly do you do, if you don't mind me asking. There's gotta be a reason why he chose to say hi to you. 'Rob a bank. There used to be a time when you could just walk into a bank and rob individuals. Now kids are just doing it online' 😆. You gotta watch out for them kids. They'll take your pants off if you're not careful

Cedar Poplar I’m a board certified emergency and trauma nurse. I’m also a monster of an individual. Just jokes about my shrek-like hands and a rectal exam. I don’t remember details, just that he was cool as hell the next day.

Those Flintstone Vitamins tasted so good back in the early 80's...😁 My parents had to put them on the highest shelf we had in the kitchen, because they caught me sneaking into the bottle and eating the grape ones... I still remember that T.V. commercial song... 🎶 "We are Flintstones kids! ... 10 million strong, and growing!" Mike Speenberg took me on a fantastic trip through my child hood. I remember ALL that stuff, from BOOK IT... To Pizza and corn. 🤣👍🏻

I seem to remember some documentary or news story about school lunches, and they were talking to a lunch lady in the school kitchen. They asked "Is this where you cook the meals for the kids?" She replied "This is where we heat up the food for the students." Kitchen in name only.

Oh he made me so nostalgic when he recited The Weekly Reader, Highlights, and the Pizza Hut Book It program. I lived to read enough books to get all the stickers on my pin (which was holographic). Then our family would go to spend an evening at Pizza Hut and I gave them my pin and got a mini pizza. Those were the days. And don't get me started on getting a book and some of those scratch and sniff stickers from the Weekly Reader! I still have them in a sticker book somewhere.
