Long Island Audit

Күн бұрын

I was conducting a 1st Amendment Audit at the Village Hall in Islandia, NY. At first I didn’t run into any problems as I was peacefully filming & submitting public records request (FOIL) A Maintenance employee & the Village Clerk, who both refused to identify themselves, became very hostile and triggered by my presence. Both threatened to call the police as an intimidation tactic. When the Suffolk County Police arrived it went a lot differently than they expected…

After watching thousands of audits from around the country I have come to one conclusion of why our public servants HATE to be filmed. It's because the Auditors always catch them standing around doing absolutely nothing, smh.

They aren't doing nothing. They're patiently waiting for something important to do so they don't waste time doing a bunch of not as important things that will make them too tired to take care of the big important thing when it arrives. It's sort of like a pack of wolves wasting energy catching mice to eat all day and then when a caribou comes along they don't have the energy left to take it down when all they had to do was wait a while.

@@tonycardone990 Your description is mixed up and makes no sense. Public servants are very rarely sacked, which means they are not accountable and lazy. Such people form alliances with other lazy workers, enabling them to participate in games, gossip, goofing off, and when anyone in charge heads their way, the alarm is set off so all can pretend to be working.

Like bad clops endanger real Police Officers. So it is with Auditors. Clayton Auditors, that purposely goad, harass just for sensalism, are in the same club as the fat blue liar clops. Hindering, not educating, bozo's. Idiots. I enjoy watching many Auditors, they all have their own unique dance. As long as they speak and stand their ground from a base of knowledge. As NC Tyrant Hunter, how you treat him, he gives back. There are others, James Freeman, The Armed Fisherman (I despise guns everywhere) but he is working within the bounds of the law. Jeff who holds the sign God Bless the Homeless Vets. ... many more that are brilliant in their own right. I don't give a hornets arse about swearing. Unless you are arming swear words to verbally attack with no legit reason. Bullying. Sean Paul Reyes is not the only brilliant Auditor. He is certainly part of a growing number of intelligent people, effecting change in a corrupt society, where Power is growing in abuse. Auditors Educating and Protecting. I have so much respect for them. Peace. CrankyGranny Western Australia

He did change his tone and attitude once he found out what was going on.. the police are trained to intimidate to demonstrate dominance over the public as they are the "authority".. once they realize no crimes are actually being committed some see there isn't a reason to be intimidating when they understand the situation.. the city workers don't like being filmed so they lie to police about feeling scared or threatened or harrassed.. meaning cops roll up ready to "control" the situation, the city workers need to be charged criminally when doing this to prevent it from occurring more.

The SCPD has always denied citizens of there constitutional rights! As a former resident I’ve been harassed and assaulted by these criminal cops during my life. I now live in Greensboro, NC primarily because NY is to expensive but I did consider getting away from the SCPD as part of the decision to leave. The last incident I had with these criminal cops was they banged on my motorhome door at 2am while I was parked at a friends home in Sound Beach at the end of a 40’ driveway. I moved the curtains and asked them what’s going on? The cop said they had a complaint from the property owner that I was illegally parked there and I had to leave immediately. I laughed in his face saying I would call the property owner right now and he could talk to him. Then he said oh it was a complaint from a neighbor and not the owner. I laughed at him again and said I know the neighbors here and they wouldn’t do that. So he demanded I open the door and i refused. Now he was really pissed off and threatening to break in and arrest me. I foolishly said Go fuck yourself . He punched the door and actually dented the door of my motorhome. His partner grabbed him and they walked away. The next day I went to the precinct and attempted to file a complaint. Not 1 individual there would assist me and I was ignored. So I left. The SCPD has been corrupt for decades. They are one of the highest paid police in America and most are corrupt and dangerous. From my 1st hand experience I’ve only met criminal cops in Suffolk County, NY. and that has been since 1970 when I had my first encounter with these guys.

Honestly, what’s with the “Right There”? Like, that’s obviously a passive aggressive elude. It makes officers look like they think they’re better than you. If you are employed under the color of law, it should be unarguably mandatory to identify your name, rank, and personnel number IMMEDIATELY. People in city hall generally seem like regular folk and I understand why they may hesitate to identify, but again, you’re a public servant, so readily identify yourself in your public servitude.

We're not finding it because the "good" cops tell someone or arrest someone but because a reporter, an auditor, or a victim of police brutality digs just a tiny bit only to find a trove of corruption. Simple things like putting overtime on a timesheet when they didn't actually work overtime. Officers placing themselves on duty while they are at home for 3-5 hours of their 8 hour shift. Both of which is a felony, as they are government employees. Then there's the trumping up charges, roughing people up, planting paraphernalia to make false arrests, lying on reports, and etc etc etc etc. Where are the good cops when all of that's going on? Small suggestion. When the cops claim, "You are making people uncomfortable." Simply respond with the question, "Is someone claiming I am making someone uncomfortable?" In this way the burden of proof remains on officer "Right Here". Now, if there is a claimant then ask for the name of the claimant and when you can speak to them to help honorably settle the alleged matter.
