Ive had 2 pudendal nerve blocks. You can add burning urethra to the list of problems that come along with PN. Also the sometimes when you wake up, you feel like there is a stick that has been setting in a fire pit getting hot for hours cramed up your vagina. The opening of the vagina is sometimes so raw feeling that you can't even put any under garments on. Nothing can touch that space down there. I always feel like i have a baby in the canal opened about 10 cm ready for birth of a child. And just about always feels like i have a bowling ball stuck up in my behind. Very uncomfortable. I've been dealing with this since 2013. Just got a diagnosis a couple maybe 3 years ago. I tried to end this pain about 4 years ago only to wind up on life support for 2 weeks. Started out just when i would sit on a hard surface. Now it's a constant thing. You can have no life with PN.

Are you any better since being diagnosed?? I’m certain I have pudendal nerve serious involvement & have been bedridden about 95% of five+ years. No help from doctors & have no pain meds. I think I may be getting officially diagnosed but they are taking months. Please tell me if you are better and they were able to give you relief. Thank you 🙏🏻

This is truly unbelievable I have been describing my back pain as low back pain like in the sac joint. I could never describe what this pain is like to specialist because it's all inside it's horrific I got to tell you I just went through kidney cancer They took my kidney but since I had that surgery my pain levels in my pelvis are through the roof and now my doctor is suggesting that I have this and now I'm going for an EMG I don't even know if I should waste time I've been in chronic pain for years they've been looking at my spine years I've gone years undiagnosed... I'm eating 60 mg maybe 60 mg of oxycodone a day It doesn't touch my pain I'm taking Tylenol doesn't touch my pain Lyrica doesn't touch my pain It is the worst nerve pain anyone could ever have I'm hoping that I'm on the road to a solution.. This is unbelievable I sit here crying

I'm in exactly the same position..What you said describes my pain right now..I'm desperate and don't know what else to do..The pain is indescribable and I can't explain it anymore..I have so much pain in my coccyx, it's internal pain.. I don't know where else it reflects

Have been suffering pudendal neuralgia for 5 months.. horrible. Have seen 2 urologists and have been to the ER 9 times. The first urologist did no tests said he couldn’t help me, second one acting like I have to live with this forever. Any kind of medications makes it worse. Have even tried morphine and strongest nerve medications amplifies the pain 20x. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this am losing hope

@ottoharris45 no. I've only had nerve block for pn. I live in a hick town and the dress here have no ides what the pudendal nerve is. My pain dr had to do research to find out what and what About it before he gave me the nerve block

I’m 22 in the UK and recently started getting this extremely bad. It’s been two weeks now and doesn’t seem to be getting better. It started off with a bad uti and the symptoms continue.. I’m scared I’ll have this forever. I’ve been trying to explain to my doctor I think this is what I have as every symptom I have ticks the boxes, but the doctors won’t do anything.
