That's Good Money Your channel has blown up nicely and the big reason is the respect everyone shows for one another and whilst i do not know these beings they do appear rather genuine and it is nice to see everybody support one another no matter the skill level. It is nice to see a clean yard I see so many ugly ones out there

I gotta share this: the greatest thing I ever found was pseudo-narrow grip chin ups; they work everything , front and back. That's where your hand position is narrower than your shoulders, palms facing you; your hands just far enough apart that you could fit 2 more hands between them. My chest/pecs are actually sore and worked after doing it and I've seen real chest growth. Every muscle in the arms is worked, my biceps are finally growing because of it and the long head of my triceps have exploded in size from it. It works the inner and outer lats equally, your whole back feels it and you can still give your abs a hard workout if you raise your legs or knees in front of you. It's one of the easier grips to pull up with, but that's because it works all muscles equally, so more muscles are involved; the total muscle work is still the same as a pull up. In 4 1/2 months I've seen more results from this one exercise than anything I've ever tried before. Plus it's the only grip that builds the long head of your bicep so they'll actually grow taller, not just wider.

I was just doing it today, this way of gripping feels easier than the regular overhand pull up. I've been trying to do regular ones and had no luck of improving, but out of nowhere I can do a couple of these half close chinups. This is weird.

Also my preferred grip/width. Feels most natural & best for increased reps/control.

Pull ups are pronated grip. They work forearm and lats. Chin ups are supernate grip, which is more emphasis on the bicep especially when your hands are in line with your shoulders. With pull-ups - the wider the grip the more lats are engaged. Wide grip on chin ups is an unnatural move. So leave it alone.

Good insight as always! Chin ups are easier for the first few reps, but they get harder after 40 reps because they burn your forearms more than pull ups. Chin ups are harder to regrip from the burned forearms, which means it makes 50OD for chin ups harder. I can do 50OD with pull ups because regripping is easier with pull ups.

For me chin up is easier because of the supinated grip and you pull with bicep(my bicep are strong) and i felt that there are more forearm burn than in pull ups than chin ups especially in the wide one.

If you do overhand (pronated) only, that will maintain your underhand chinups. Just my experience. Overhand is much harder.
