Join us on June 21 for a concert and global livestream event in celebration of Make Music Day
We invite you to celebrate the first day of summer with a special morning concert in Leimert Park in South Los Angeles.
Each year, on June 21st, we celebrate Make Music Day (Fête de la Musique). Pulsations LA is part of a global livestream concert event as part of the Paris 2024 Cultural Olympiad.
The Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, LA Commons, and Make Music LA present a free, outdoor concert event featuring performances from Cultural Treasures of South LA including Kinnara Taiko, poet S. Pearl Sharp, Dwight Trible, and The Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center Jazz Ensemble.
Concertgoers and passersby are invited to enjoy the performances, watch the livestream, and participate in all-ages activities.
