Thanks for the vid. Can you punch in and out continuously just like in tape? where you keep punching in and out wall the way till the end of the song without automatic stopping by the machine.

Sure. If you aren't using the auto-punch system which has a start and stop, you can keep punching whenever you feel like it.

@ but I mean like it does not stop everytime you punch in to save ? I just to overdub certain parts.

@@cfig81 I'll have to try it with a pedal, I've done it by hitting record on the console and it will keep going after hitting play to stop recording.

But can you punch in without a gap in the recording? I tried it with guitar and it left a gap of time between the original and the puch in. I used the auto punch

@@simon_hughes I did do a video on this issue about 3 weeks ago. I didn't have a gap in the recording, but I did get a pop sound when the punch in started. I haven't delved any deeper at the moment.
