As usual Pune gets step motherly treatment when compared to Mumbai. Cities like Nagpur and Nashik have had such infrastructure projects sanctioned and completed much before Pune. A glaring example is the Nagpur metro when compared to Pune Metro.... By now they should have started a high speed Pune Mumbai rail and road corridor. They haven't even shortened the railway track length between the two cities yet ! Nitin Gadkari seems to have given Pune a miss !!!!

Cost ko nirdharit karne ke baad badhana nahi chahiye.Maintenence bhi tender lene wale ko karna padega bager charge kiye hue.Toll ko bhi baar baar nahi badana chahiye.Toll ka period fix hona chahiye.Tender sirf badi company jaise ki Tata,L&T ya aur koi international company ko hi dena chahiye.

Let this road be completely above ground, this will save land cost. Farmers can use their land and animals won't be harmed. Repeated excavation will be avoided. Extra cost will be saved by not acquiring land.

Sir there are 2 Ring roads planned in pune, PMRDA and MSRDC and you have given incorrect information (some part) bcoz PMRDA ring road is going reduced width from 110 MTR to 45, 60 or 65 meter (not finalized yet) not MSRDC ring road.plz correct me if I am wrong पुणे महानगर प्रदेश विकास प्राधिकरणाने (पीएमआरडीए) हाती घेतलेल्या रिंगरोडची रुंदी कमी करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. त्यासाठी पुन्हा एकदा ट्रॉफिक सर्व्हेक्षणाचे काम सुरू केले असून त्यानंतर तो ४५, ६० किंवा ६५ मीटर रुंदीचा करायचा?, याबाबत निर्णय घेण्यात येणार आहे.  पुणे - पुणे महानगर प्रदेश विकास प्राधिकरणाने (पीएमआरडीए) हाती घेतलेल्या रिंगरोडची रुंदी कमी करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. त्यासाठी पुन्हा एकदा ट्रॉफिक सर्व्हेक्षणाचे काम सुरू केले असून त्यानंतर तो ४५, ६० किंवा ६५ मीटर रुंदीचा करायचा?, याबाबत निर्णय घेण्यात येणार आहे. तसेच, या रिंगरोडची लांबी कमी झाली असून तो आता सुमारे ८५.६३ किलोमीटर लांबीचा असणार आहे. पीएमआरडीएने प्रादेशिक विकास आराखड्यातील रिंगरोड विकसित करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. एकूण १२३.९७ किमी लांबीचा हा रिंगरोड होता. पहिल्या टप्प्यात तो ९० मिटर रुंदीचा होता. परंतु, मध्यंतरी एमएसआरडीसीच्या रिंगरोडप्रमाणेच तो ११० रुंदीचा करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला. आता पुन्हा रुंदी कमी करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. पालकमंत्री अजित पवार यांच्या उपस्थितीत मुंबईत झालेल्या बैठकीत रिंगरोडची रुंदी कमी करण्यास तत्त्वतः: मान्यता दिली असल्याचे पीएमआरडीएच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी ‘सकाळ’शी बोलताना सांगितले. ओव्हरलॅपमुळे निर्णय पीएमआरडीएचा रिंगरोड १२३ किलोमीटर लांबीचा होता. परंतु पीएमआरडीए आणि एमएसआरडीसी या दोन्ही रिंगरोडमध्ये सुमारे १५ किलोमीटरचे अंतर आहे. दोन्ही रिंगरोड काही गावांमध्ये एकमेकांना ओव्हरलॅप होतात. त्यामुळे ज्या गावांमध्ये हे दोन्ही रिंगरोड एकमेकांना ओव्हरलॅप होतात, अशा गावांमधील सुमारे ३८.३४ किलोमीटरचा एमएसआरडीसीचा रिंगरोड वगळण्याचा निर्णय यापूर्वी घेण्यात आला होता. मध्यंतरी तो पुन्हा एमएसआरडीकडे वर्ग केला. त्यामुळे पीएमआरडीएचा रिंगरोड आता ८५.६३ किलोमीटर लांबीचा होणार आहे. रिंगरोडची रुंदी कमी करण्याची कारणे १) पीएमआरडीएने हाती घेतलेला रिंगरोड १९८७ च्या प्रादेशिक आराखड्यातील आहे. दरम्यानच्या कालावधीत या रस्त्यावर अनेक ठिकाणी बांधकामांना परवानगी दिली. त्यामुळे भूसंपादन करताना अनेक अडचणी येणार असून खर्चही वाढण्याची शक्यता आहे. २) या रिंगरोडला मोठा विरोध होत आहे. रिंगरोडसाठी निधी उपलब्ध करून देण्यास सरकार तयार नाही आहे. ३) या रिंगरोडपासून १५ किलोमीटर अंतरावरूनच एमएसआरडीसीचा सुमारे ११० रुंदीचा रिंगरोड जाणार आहे. त्यामुळे एवढ्या कमी अंतरावरून जाणारे हे दोन्ही रस्ते एकाच रुंदीचे करणे योग्य होणार नाही. प्रकल्पाची वैशिष्ट्ये.... एकूण रिंगरोड ८५.६३ किमी लांबीचा पहिल्या टप्प्यात ३३ किमी लांबीच्या रिंगरोडचे नियोजन रस्त्याची ११० मीटरची रुंदी कमी होणार पुणे-सातारा ते नगर रोडला जोडला जाणार रिंगरोडला जोडणाऱ्या ४२ रस्त्यांचाही होणार विकास टीपी स्किमच्या माध्यमातून भूसंपादनाचे नियोजन हवेली, खेड, मावळ आणि मुळशी तालुक्यातून जाणार

One small question. If the project is design, build, finance, operate and transfer model (DBFOT), then what will the 26000 crore rupees allocated in the state budget be spent on? Will it be only spent on land acquisition?
