Thx for the share. - I have the same problem. You could just put a timer in hooked to the starter motor btw to make things easy for yourself. - or just put it direct to the starter solenoid might be even simpler. (The white wire) You explained the mystery of what wire does what very well.

So did you put 12volt a to the hold switch? Which feeds the red wire.

When you tested the solenoid how did you go about it? When I tried to test it I put a ground to the ground wire and then I put 12 volts to the white wire but nothing happened. Please if you can HELP!

You could rewire the hold switch to the lapbar so everytime you lift up, it would drop the parking brake to stop the machine from rolling forward. Basically what Bobcat has Wired originally

There was trouble with that. That's why I bypassed it.

@@punkinhed81 run a new switch in place of the old one, this way you don't have to reset it everytime you exit the machine

Only have to reset it when I turn off machine and start it up. Once I start it I just bump the button once

I’m fighting with the park brake stuck on on my cat247b I’ve been looking at everything on the internet and found your video now I’m thinking of trying what you did. My solenoid has a yellow and white. How can I tell for sure which wire does what?

What type of switches are the 2 switches, and does the white wire go to the green?

That should work for my t190. Are you running 12v to the white wire ? I only have 5 volts out of the controller to my red wire pretty sure that’s why it doesn’t work.

Hi, Where did you get that switch, link or model number? Does it send a pulse to pull it up?

Just regular switchs at napa. I leave toggle on all the time when running it powers the low side that holds it off. Its off and on with key. So when i first start it i have to hit button to suck the rod up to disengage brake. Then if its running and i want to put brake on i shut off toggle and pin drops down.
