When I first started cruising to Cozumel in 1988 San Miguel was much smaller. Carlos and Charlie's was the place to go to. The ship di not dock, it anchored off shore and we tendered in. It's amazing the changes over the years. Where Royal and Carnival docks today it nothing but jungle then. When first put in the Cruise piers there it was still quite a bit of jungle there. Punta Langosta is amazing. I di not know the extent of the changes there until this video. Thank you Chris for taking us along with you!

Anywhere to get good coffee around there? I’m not into the monster drinks but wife likes those energy drinks. So she’ll be happy, well they say, happy wife, happy life, so I guess it’s all good then 🤠

They have amazing coffee at the no-name bar, believe it or not. It's located right down the street from that port. It's across the street from the big grocery store. Great place to hang out as well. They have a pool and snorkeling, food at no cost to get in.

Hello Chris and Tiffany. Always appreciate your videos. We have a cruise booked in June on the Carnival Breeze to Cozumel & Progresso. I have a couple of questions. 1) I have heard that you should not drink the tap water in Mexico. What is your recommendation? 2) Do you know of any good churro stops in either Cozumel or Progresso? Thanks for answering my queries. Have a great day and keep up the good work.

We don't drink the tap water, but there is ice in our drinks at the restaurants. We have never had any issues with that. Tiffany had had the local coffee and not had any problems. As for churros we do not know of any places, but ask the locals. They are always happy to help you find what you are looking for.
