Congratulations to Apple and we wish continued success to her puppies. Your dedication to the breed is outstanding and inspired us to get a Cavalier King Charles spaniel after our beloved 17 y.o. male Pomeranian Sudi left us last Fall. We have had our new boy for 10 weeks now and , yes, we named him Tag!

They are beautiful. Congratulations to you and certainly to apple. I'm sure she's a proud mama. I do have a question. Why did she only have to? And how can you help them have more like a bigger litter if that's possible?

There were actually 3 - the first was stillborn. We did all we possibly could to maximize litter size, but Mother Nature decides in the end.

What a difference a day makes! Amazing how you can see the little puppies developing. We would be very interested to know what the behavior of Boo and especially charming bohemian Bootsie has been since the little ones arrived - have they shown much interest? Or just another day at Cavingham Palace... hope you all can get some sleep soon. Thanks for the videos - fab.

The others are curious, but when pups are this young, the mother is overly protective. Apple won't let them come anywhere near the pups.

Do you see many Cavaliers with Watson's coloring where they are substantially more white? I think he will be beautiful.

Some have more white than others, and that's fine. If Watson goes the way Jamba did, the markings will deepen in color and spread, but not for several months.
