Puppy Wolfadoodle (Irish Wolfhound / Poodle Cross) Becomes an Adult

Got one from a rescue, pretty sure he has at least some Wolfdoodle. Hes much bigger than anticipated, but i love him. Truly a good dog.

What gorgeous dogs you have!! I love all breeds of dogs but I hadn’t heard of a Wolfhound-Poodle cross. What a wonderful thought process. I’m a mini-schnauzer cross owner myself, Asia is 10. My guess on the other breed is a Jack Russell. She’s so dang smart. Perry has Paul Newman’s eyes 💗. Thank you for sharing your family and dogs. Hugs from Idaho

Actually this is pretty sad, not to mention highly unethical and irresponsible. She also needs to get a DNA test on her dog saying as there's absolutely no way that there is just Irish Wolfhound and poodle in that dogs lineage due to the Merle coat, this dog was purchased from a backyard breeder and the owner of this channel should be ashamed.

Beautiful dogs, a great mix. The pups are adorable. I have a mini Irish Wolfhound. She’s 50 pounds. Not sure what she’s mixed with, possibly Border Collie.

yeh Wolfies are great family dogs and yes their lifespan is the bigest heartbreak especialy as much as they will worm their way into your life,

It's fine to cross, but there is NO SUCH THING AS A HYPOALLERGENIC DOG. They all shed to a degree, all have dander. Irish Wolfhounds shed minimally. They don't need to be crossed, but they don't live long.

@ trust me I know , lost my best friend last January he was a 7 year old IW his name was Furgus , they don’t live near long enough but once you’ve had the love from one you can’t live without one. But I have to disagree with you about cross breeding Irish wolfhounds with other breeds, I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree🤷‍♂️

Hi Chris, why do you think this is an issue? Seems to me it’s optimal as it produces a healthier dog and besides Irish wolfhounds aren’t the same breed they originally were they’re a recreation. I am just curious why you think this as I’ve always wanted a wolfhound but was always worried about short lifespan. Could get a lurcher I suppose but these seem cool.

@ I don’t agree with backyard breeders making new breeds as they see fit just to make money, you have no idea what kind of medical conditions you are creating or temperament, I’m not a fan of people making muts and giving them a new name and changing big money for them.
