Lamar may have faced the worst chiefs offense in the last 6 years but to be fair to him a little, he did face the strongest chiefs defense. Also that "Historic Ravens Defense" couldn't force a turnover when the bills and 49ers defense did, not to mention the Ravens defense got dominated on time of possession and committed what felt like 100 penalties. Zay Flowers' fumble has seemed to drastically change the perception of that game already.

@@lil_truth I just looked up Burrows stats and compared them to Purdy. It is quite interesting to say the least. I think Burrow is the better QB, but after looking up the actual numbers, I have more questions than answers for my opinion. Can't say weapons because Burrow has 2 elite WR's and a 3rd very good one. A good TE and a very Good RB. Can't say Oline because neither of them are good in pass protection, lol. Keep in mind that Burrow is in a more passer friendly offense in terms of drop backs. Personally Lamar deserves to be higher but if it is based on actual numbers, Brock Purdy is right there with Joe Burrow in both accomplishments (both finished 4th in MVP voting one year, while Purdy finished 6th in OPOY while Burrow finished 9th). Purdy had no real off season after rehabbing his elbow, barely played in the preseason and didn't miss a beat. Led the league or was Top 5 in every statistical category for a QB despite sitting out several 4th qtrs and missing WK 18. Was an MVP candidate the whole season, Led all players in Pro Bowl votes, Fed Ex Air Player of the Year, Led two comeback wins in playoffs to get to the Superbowl where he was a Chris Jones block away from maybe winning it all and once again he did all that with no real off season. Purdy looked like a Top 7 QB at least and should be ranked higher

You had me with The Prince and Caleb. The rest of your list is questionable at best. He had a good year on the most stacked roster, but he showed some serious limitations in that superbowl and if he lasts in the league long enough to get paid... he's going to have a rough time when the rosters get averaged out as always does. He's got 1 good year left as a QB before everything falls apart on him. Meanwhile Cousins, Goff, Hurts are franchise QBs doing well with their expensive contracts and much less talent on their teams. Love... has a lot more potential than Purdy from an athletic standpoint, but it remains to be seen how he will develop. My guess is that your take looks really good for a year and then ages like milk afterwards.

Lamar is 2nd or at least 3rd best QB behind Joe Borrow. What separates the top 5 QB is character and attitude. Each of the top 5 QB have something unique to them. Dak does not belong in the same breath as Lamar because we saw Dak's ceiling a few weeks ago, Lamar has another leap to take especially in his passing game especially when he stays healthy. Actually both are factually accurate and correct. The Chiefs DID have the league's best defense once the playoffs hit, and were #2 for the regular season. That said, the offense was WAY worse than usual, so overall the team was the weakest team the Chiefs have had since Mahomes became the starter.
