I wish that were possible because I miss that decade too, but it isn't. Time only moves forwards, not backwards. So, we're stuck living in the current times. But, there is a way to sort of go back in our minds through the media and stuff from back then (especially since the internet has made that possible). Update: I just recently bought this CD, and it's just as awesome as this commercial made it sound and it made me feel so nostalgic that it gave me goosebumps. Especially Track # 11, The Main Title Theme from The Last Emperor which sparked my love for Chinese music. I'm also pretty sure tracks #4 ("Oxygene Part 4") and #6 ("Tubular Bells Part 1") were heard on computer animation tapes I watched constantly when I was little, although I can't remember exactly which ones. But, I've always wanted the soundtracks to some of those animations.

@KCHunter7 жыл бұрын
Well, sota. chill out/ambient/trip hop/acid jazz etc. came from a lot of the euro clubs in the late 80s early 90s from artists like Air, KLF, The Orb, Aphex Twin ... but you could really go back to the 70s with Brian Eno and Kraftwerk. Here in the States on the East Coast there were chill out/ambient events in the mid to late 90s (Cloudwatch and a few others) as well as whole rooms of festivals and raves devoted to the genre back then. Pure Moods was a collection of more commercial songs used in movie soundtracks and TV shows (The Exorcist, X-Files, Miami Vice), kind of like what Dance Music USA would be to techno/house/trance.

Ah the 90's. The last 10 years before the end of the world. When 2000 hit, all life took a 90 degree nose dive. There's always the memories which this commercial flooded back in like an ocean. I'm so happy I grew up in the 90's even if i was 3 when 1990 hit. I can't imagine being born in 2000 and growing up now. Sad fucks from 2000 on don't even know how to write in cursive. I believe that alone makes me superior to all the generations after me that can't so that. It should be the default writing style of the world. either way, i can always bring it all back with commercials like this, and the actual songs themselves.

Holy damn that takes me back... Literally my Return to Innocence.. Also, is it bad that I remember these commercials so vividly only being 6 at the time? I was just so entranced with the music and my mom did the coolest shit a parent can do in the 90s, get something for their child from an infomercial. Longest 10 weeks ever. She got me that as a present as well as a Selena casette (every little girl in Texas loved Bidi Bidi Bom Bom) Even though my life was complete shit and I suffered some abuse I always had something to make me happy even if it was just a song. I guess I can definitely take a lesson from my younger self

The nostalgia hitting so hard like a sledgehammer to the chest. The 90s style commercial, and even moreso, the music. So many that I love, but Adiemus is the one I am focused on right now. I could never look up these songs without knowing the names before, since most of the lyrics aren't seemingly real english words. I googled "90s tribal flow music", as that is the best way I can think of describing how to find the song, and then this commercial came up. My dad must of had the CD when I was growing up. Pure Moods, I remember now. This type of music is so painfully unique and specific to the 90s.

I had a tune in my head today that I couldn't remember the name of, and I couldn't even begin to figure out how to search for it. Then I remembered I used to hear it on this commercial for this CD, which I never owned and couldn't remember the name of. So I did a Google search for "90s new age music commercial", which brought me straight here, where I could find out it was "Sadeness" by Enigma, which I was then able to look up and listen to. God, I love the internet.

This felt like some fevor dream from my childhood lol. Somewhere etched into my brain was a vague memory of some cd complication commercial that showed a picture of the pyramid with very new age-y ethereal music that would get stuck in my head but never had any way to look it up. Then a couple of years later, I actually found a copy of Pure Moods at Walmart and of course I bought it and still have it to this day and I still love to listen to it.

I was a teenager when Pure Moods came out. The first time I saw the commercial and heard the music, I was like "that is some of the nicest music I've ever heard". My mother heard it also and also liked it. We kept saying we were gonna order it but not never got around to it, than about a year later I found a cd copy of Pure Moods for sale at walmart and of course I bought it and I still have it today and it still works great and that was well over 12 years ago when I bought it.
