I'm going to dye my hair I have the splat Dream dye. Whitch is purple and blue if anyone was wondering ,🙂 But my only problem is I have a very busy life and I'm currently trying to find the right time! But I really want to do this. I just moved school and is in the middle of making friends so I'm kinda scared that I might stand out to much but dyeing hair has always kinda been fun for me☺️ so I'm pretty excited

Hey lovely colour mix they are my favourite :-D But ai wanted to ask how long did they last? when I dye my hair they last max. 2 weeks and then they turn to green. Plus how did you bleached your hair?

I recently bleached my hair. My hair is light yellow(not necessarily blonde yet, I want it really blonde or platinum), somewhat orange in some parts and a light yellow on the roots. Should I try to bleach bath before trying to tone it? I do have a purple and blue ion dye so I can make my own toner but my toning experiments haven't worked. I want to dye it a blue or green shade. I have the ion sensitive lightening creme and 30 volume developer. I previously dyed my hair auburn with a boy dye but it faded into a light brown with copper tones. I want to dye my hair a blue shade and mint green. I might use the Ion Color Brilliance sky blue, mint, and azure :). Any tips/suggestions are welcomed :).

+XninocaX hey :) thats conditioner. any brand will do. reason why, is because the colour is very concentrated and vibrant, so she adds it to dilute the colour to a lighter shade. have a lovely day !

would it have the same effect on shorter hair? my froned has short fluffy hair and I don't want it to just look like stripes in her hair. it goes down to above her shoulders. its super fluffy and layered.

I have splat hair dye but it's too dark I'm considering mixing it with conditioner like you did here but I don't know if you used splat so... I don't now if you can mix splat with conditioner

normaly you use conditioner, and it will brighten up the color and also give you more of the product :)

miss mad No, nothing special. But you have to keep in mind that I had pastel blue hair before I dyed my hair like this!

miss mad Start with the lightest, whitest hair you can get - the yellow tinge makes your hair go green when it fades. If you add a tiny bit of purple to the blue it takes away the green tinge in the dye too :)

Try to only lighten the parts of your hair that's the darkest, then when you're going to tone it, distribute it as quick and evenly as you can. I think it's all about practice.
