Purple Blur? Is there a Perfect Speed for Code 3 D-tech Rotators?

I recently slowed down some Code 3 D-Tech rotators to see if they would have better color definition.

I am currently working on a project to synchronize two D-Techs so they flash in an organized manner. Before taking on that project I am experimenting with rotation speed. To test this simply placed a D-Tech on a rotating base with a variable speed motor. This video shows speeds ranging from "barley spinning" to "factory".
