The story in this DLC is based on the same tale as Wano in One Piece; Momotaro. A peach boy followed by a monkey, a pheasant and a dog + the evil ogre(oni) with it's club

So funny you should mention the Comfortable look of the Jinbei PurpleCliff as when you wikipedia them it states " is a traditional set of Japanese clothing worn by men, women and children during summer as loungewear," as they are typically loose sewn for lots of ventilation and tend to use breathable fabric. This is actually one of the most accurate yet taking liberty to mold it into Pokemon themed ways they've been depicted. Makes me wish we had more Styles and colors available!!! As they look freaking amazing in game and I much more prefer them over the School uniform.

Fun fact: the move syrup bomb will change color depending on if your dipplin is shiny or not. So if you have a normal dipplin the move will be red, if you have a shiny dipplin the move will be yellow. Truth is Kieran isn't getting bullied he has quite the ego and inferioty complex he is alot like Volo who was obsess with Arceus Kirean is obsess with the Orge but the version he likes is the one about power that ythe Orge killed the three thieves. Kieran always had a darkness in him and Orgepon knew Kieran looks at the Orge as a prize to win. Basically he is a simp for her. Also nice dosent equate to good he dose it as manipulative tactic he dose a Volo side smile even when he tells the villagers the truth he did it to have her. Are character we play is basically a clean slate and not a simp we don't love the Orge and we spent time with her so did Carmine but we did it first and Orgepon always had her guard up with Kieran.

Ps. Say what you want about Carmine she is right about her brother but also this is a story about Toxic and Greed and sadly Kieran is the Orge of this story even got rid of his Furret like Hop giving up his Dubwool but difference is Hop fidnt go through some power trip angst Aizen arc here.

@@serinathuller2943 What? Kids are no mystical creatures who are born with "darkness in them". That's caused by how they are treated. And Carmine did her part to make the situation worse. She kept talking over Kieran, disregarding his problems as "teenage drama" and even deliberately embarrassed her brother in front of the guests. So yeah, Carmine is in fact a bully towards Kieran, but they glazed over that by giving her some funny oneliners. She does change over the course of the story, but never really shows this towards Kieran, only the player gets to see this new side of her. So to him things still looked like "My sister and my so called friend took the one thing from me that I really like!" Of corse all that doesn't justify Kieran wanting Ogerpon for himself or getting his own villain arc, but he is NOT the Ogre in this story, that part went to the "loyal 3": This entire storyline is based on Momotaro, a Japanese folk tale: A tiny boy born from a peach ("momo") sets out on adventures together with a pheasant, a monkey and a dog and they fight against the Ogre King among other things. There are many different versions of the story, but in all of them the Ogre King just exists and is considered an evil thief. There is no dark backstory to him. He's there to act as a motivation for Momotaro to sail to Ogre Island and take back the treasures the ogres stole.

@Purplecliffe @Purplecliffe2 @Purplecliff3 I always believed that the sinnoh starters you would get would be predetermined on which paldea starter you chose, cause i got a piplup egg on both scarlet and violet when i chose sprigatito as my starter but the 3rd time i chose sprigatito in a new playthrough of scarlet i got a turtwig egg so i guess it is random and i was mistaken to think you always get the sinnoh starter weaker to the paldea starter you chose.
