Everyone needs to chill, quit bitching and moaning about 9-2 and enjoy the ride. The mighty Lions should have lost last night to the Bears at Detroit. Go Vikes beat the Cardinals!

Lions have played 4 playoff teams and struggled against the Vikings and Texans. I can't see the Lions being atop the division come week 18 with their defensive injuries and the games they have on the schedule.

Love the film breakdowns with the boys. It's nice seeing what we may not notice on tv so we get a better understanding of our favorite game. Thankful for Purple daily and the O-line committee. You guys keep me entertained on the daily.

Soooo if we ever have a must have it play on third or 4th down…it seems we should use Jefferson as a decoy most of the time on those plays, and feed Addison, Hock, or Aaron Jones. Like taking candy from a baby.

I agree, this team might be better when they do pay this much attention to Jefferson. So much talent on this offense.

Could you guys explain why sometimes the Viking’s safety(?) cornerback(?) drops back 10-15 yards pre snap? Is that to confuse the offense on what the coverage package is? SKOL

Honestly, for onside kicks what the Bears did is smart. It either has to go 10 yards OR on opposing player has to touch it. So, if I was a kicker, I’d just try to intentionally kick it in to an opposing player first. It definitely increases your odds of getting it

The NFC looking wider and wider as the season goes on. Detroit defense is cooked. We have a good shot of making the Bowl hopefully.

I think we are getting our groove back boys…we are not to be taken lightly as NFC contenders. Vikings can beat anybody in the league when Sam plays this well, and a clean game. And I know we need to find ways to get Jefferson the ball to keep him happy, but if teams are going to play this type of coverage…we must make them pay and feed Addison and Hock until they get out of that coverage. Makes the game easy for Sam if they want to triple Jefferson. This was Darnold’s highest passing yards game, and it was Jefferson’s lowest yardage game…just hope they don’t feel the need to force it to Jefferson and have unnecessary interceptions, bc Addison and Hock are Elite, we don’t need to force it to Jefferson. Addison is so dang good. Hope he, Jefferson, and Hock are here another 5 years together with JJ at QB.

Did the teams they faced have Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addson, TJ Hockensen, and Aaron Jones? This game smells like another 30+ effort by the Vikes and the Sub-20 point effort by Flores D.

Here is something to ponder. Sam Darnold. USC freshman year. 9-1. Without Sam. 0-2. Jets 15-23 record with Sam. Without him over his tenure. (Flacco) 0-15. Carolina, Baker was 1-6. Sam without Cmcs help. 4-2. Same roster, he's outplayed every QB he's been up against. And he's done it extremely handily. Kirk last season 4-4. Sam. 9-2 this season. Different defense, sure. But, that record seems to follow him everywhere that he goes. MINNESOTA FANS NEED TO SEE IT, and stop trusting the media so much.

The rushing TD at the goal line, have you ever thought that this was a plan from KOC? Was thinking they need to start doing this a few weeks ago and I think they did. Rather than be obvious and have a run called, then "can" or "kill" into a pass play, go the other way. It wasn't that Darnold saw anything, it's more that the audible confused the LB into thinking it's a RPO to Hock. Pretty clever

Jeremiah Searel.
@jimbo92107Күн бұрын
Wow, KOC took ruthless advantage of JJ's massive gravity time after time to create huge holes in the Bear D backfield. This allowed the super sidekicks to feast on empty space. Meanwhile, Sammy Darnold was firing bullseye darts, hitting his guys right in stride, even from over 20 yards. An aerial circus.
@oel734Күн бұрын
I really hope that Sam's improvement as a QB isn't solely because of having Jefferson. I want him to be a successful QB wherever he ends up next season. (I'm rooting for him)

Sorry I disagree the Vikings are not hitting there stride most of there close games are close because of self inflicted things that the team knows needs cleaned up and has known since the first game of regular season yes they have a great win loss record and when they do clean those things up they will be unstoppable these doubters will be in shock and yes that will happen soon ! GO VIKS SKOL !
