Right! I'm 59 yrs old and Tool is still my favorite band. Although diversified, Pusifier is right up there with it though. There are of course some really great rock bands over the years I firmly believe Maynard's are the best bands in Rock ever.

I think the thing I like best about Puscifer is their ability to reinterpret their own material and it be just as good or better than the OG recording. I love how for them a song isn't finished when it's recorded - it's just a foundation for future building. I love Tool but I bet MJK gets bored sometimes doing the same songs the same way for 30 years. Puscifer and APC are his outlets for more experimentation. The way the voices all work together in the latest live shows is just stunning.

Don't quote me but I believe they record separately in Tool at least sometimes. I e AJ, Danny, MJK and Justin aren't always together like this during the process.

Just watched an interview with Danny he said himself along with Adam and Justin always jam in his studio together for every TOOL song. All is recorded. Then Maynard comes in with them to get the groove then off to the writing for him. Danny said his hair was standing up thinking about how "brilliant" Maynard is... Humility personified

I love how after 30 years of making music, Maynards projects and expression have stayed relevant and alive. Its super rare, most bands have two good albums and they kinda ride off them the rest of their careers. From the friends I have who are into alternative music, their favourite albums of puscifer and tool are their most current albums, myself included. Granted this is a remix of an older song, its got a fresh energy to it!

They’ve been playing this version live for years. I’ve had to find bootlegged videos filmed and posted on KZbin to get it. I’m so glad they did a studio version of it. It’s incredible. One of my faves from them. BTW, Puscifer is a real treat live. It’s a full show. Music, acting, theatrics. It’s real fun. A great experience.

I've been following Puscifer since Mr. Show, and then that 1st album dropped and my mind was blown. Caught them live at the Brady in Tulsa and I was thrilled to find that they played a wide array of recently reworked tracks from Versatile and Violator. Didn't catch Grand Canyon, however, this one literally brought tears to my eyes.
