You're very welcome Michele, for self defense purposes all you need to do is kick low to the thigh, knee or ankle, nothing higher than the mid thigh. If you need to kick someone to the head, knock em to the ground first and then kick em in the had. ;0)

Great Video Thanks. I'm 42 and training for a Kick Boxing fight and I love Front Kicks. I'm too old to do all those high fancy kicks so I truly appreciate you and your students time in sharing this video.

I'm familiar with these arts. Very impressive bro. I'm in Tejas and unable to travel there but maybe someday I'll be out your way and get to stop by, if be God's will. You're good teacher bro. My favorite on youtube. Several knowledgeable guys on here but you're the best one I've seen in striking. I'd like to see your grappling tutorials. We utilized more grappling with some strikes to lethal/crippling targets in close combat defense. A lot like Jujitsu. I teach as well, privately.(Much respect)

Nice! By lifting the back heel just before impact you'll add power

Another thing I wanted to ask was pertaining to the vid you made about toughening the hands for fighting. I'm sure you've heard of Shaolin Minks and Muay Thai fighters strengthening their bones by hitting them repeatedly.I wanted to know if u could make vid about this and even "Can you harden the bones of the face and skull?". Thanks for the info.

Que onda hermano! I wanted to ask you, if I may, what is your back ground in the martial arts? Seems like bareknuckle boxing, mui thai chaiya, and Okinawan Karate maybe? Based upon my review of your many videos, which are very good BTW, I was seeing elements of these three. Also, are you a military veteran? And where are you located, your gym? Dios te bendiga y muchismas gracias hermano! :)
