The whole thing with the picture is genius, "ADIDON" is the name of Drakes new deal with Adidas that was going to be released soon (allegedly) So when Drake finally released the Adidas work this photo will forever be tied with the ADIDON release. Giving bad PR to Adidas and drake since blackface is inexcusable to a degree. The beat comes from Jay-Z's last Album 4:44 from a song called "Story Of O.J." (Story of ADIDON) and the music video for Story Of OJ depicted black characters in a very stereotypical way, which ties into drakes blackface. The reason for bringing up the dad is because its one of Drakes insecurities and it ties into the whole story of Drake growing up with no dad and then him being a shit dad to his son. Full circle. The MS line to some was too far and you can argue about that but I believe he was dissing Drake for working the man more so than making fun of him for having it. This was one of the most calculated responses in a long time, Drake has been in a few beefs but has never actually been pushed far enough to this level. Im excited to see what happens
@Krispymanbligity6 жыл бұрын
JaL but why is Drake a bad dad? What if he just wanted the song thing to be a surprise ?
@LostSoxx6 жыл бұрын
Drake is very calculated and has a lot of power and money to pay people off and change things to make himself look better or hide things. Text messages leaked a year ago where drake asked Sophi to get an abortion and she denied that. Nothing wrong with that mistakes happen they discussed it and she kept the kid. Now in Drakes songs that are released after the baby allegations that happened over a year ago he references girls claiming they have kids with him, how he is being targeted because he has money and in one song called "Sacrifices" he says "I got no baby on the way" which to me is him denying the child completely. So Drake being a bad dad is true because he may be sending the girl child support, we are not sure, but he isnt with the kid, he isnt activley raising the kid and if Pusha T's lines ring true he makes sure the wife and kid cant get into canada. Which to me makes him a bad father for not properly taking care of the kid when he has more than enough power to do so. If you look at DJ Khaled when his kid was born he adored him, put him on his album and treated him like a King. So its not that drake wanted his life to be private from media but more so he didnt want it to be known he has a kid with a pornstar since in his eyes it could hurt his persona. Sorry for the long paragraph btw

What you guys have to understand is this is a part of Rap culture its called bloodsport Drake talks about he's the best and no one can touch him so anyone else wants to proof him wrong they have to go hard at him thats why he's bringing up all this stuff in the rap. He wants to end Drakes image which other rappers have tried to do before but no one has ever had dirt on him like this. As far as you guys thinking its going to far Drake himself took it to that level when he made fun of Kid Cudis mental health a rapper on the same label as Pusha and brought his wife into the beef. Once you cross that line there is no going back this isn't drama or publicity this is war its part of the culture.

I know it seems like Pusha making fun of 40's MC diagnosis is going too far and out of nowhere, but Drake previously made fun of Kid Cudi's mental health issue and suicidal thoughts that he was open about. Kid Cudi used to be on GOOD Music so he is "part of the family" with Pusha and Kanye. So pusha just served it right back by making fun of a serious and sad situation with someone in Drake's "family". It's definitely brutal but still fair given the history.

drake is in such a tough situation now. he can’t stoop as low as push because he always has been about positivity and such a response would hurt his image. he also can’t go toe to toe with push since push is just far superior as a lyricist and he can’t just try to make a radio hit like back to back was because push clearly has the ammo to respond with another fire response. he also can’t just ignore it because drake claimed to be the king of this shit. he can’t just dip after someone final hit back with something fire. idk what drake should do tbh

Small correction: "Let it ring on you" was a double entendre that Pusha made a triple. "Let it ring on you" can mean letting a (metaphorical) gun ring out when you take a shot, and also implying that Pusha's fiancee doesn't pick up the phone when he calls. The triple Pusha added to it was implying that a ring isn't a bad thing and then drawing a line between a wedding ring and Drake's father not being present in his life being mirrored in the fact that Drake is trying to hide a son from the public because he knocked up a softcore porn/instagram thot. I'm as shook as a lot of people that this is so personal, but I also think it's fair game for two reasons. 1) Pusha has ALWAYS portrayed himself as a demon of the rap game. He leads with darkness and revels in his ill-gotten gains. There was a time in his life where he probably didn't think anything of taking a man's life, so he's going to get downright demonic in a rap beef. 2) He's dismantling the hip-hop-sweetheart, good guy image that Drake tries to maintain and exposes him as a deadbeat dad who portrays himself as a sensitive high-class type in his music but knocks up groupies and tries to hide the kid in his real life.

Sounds odd but this songs together could be a movie of their own especially when but in that order it’s a pretty interesting journey and story

John Ramos MAAD city alone cud be a movie.

Videos like this remind me why I like seeing people's reactions that don't really listen to a lot of rap. The shock at this track was priceless lol. That's rap beef, man, nothing is really off limits. Great stuff.

its crazy to see this now that kendrick did the exact same thing and tripled down too

I seriously could not stop laughing at this video. This channel is great! You guys are ingenuous, LMFAO. To the usual hip hop listeners, we LOVE (or are at least used to) this type of disrespect/foul play. To the new heads (ie, you guys) you guys are terrified. There have been plenty of songs like this, and it won't be the last. Just another aspect of the culture that I'm entertained with you guys exploring! Keep up the great work. B

What I love about these guys is the knowledge they have about hip-hop and rap is bare minimal. The fact they’re from a different culture of music makes their reactions so genuine, keep it up fellas!

Would be cool if you did a throwback reaction to Nas's jay-z diss track "Ether" at some point. Some of the lyrics in that haven't aged well but there's no line that can be crossed in rap beef as long as it doesn't go beyond music.

Hey I enjoy watching you guys react to videos just because our cultures differ. I’m from America where hip hop rap has become a major staple in society. When it comes to rap beefs the lyrics...anything goes man it’s like a heavyweight fight and the world is watching.

Yessss. I think they're ready for experimental. Especially since they're probably fans of punk, already being metalheads. I think they'd appreciate artists like DG, clipping., jpeg
@ethan-db9wc6 жыл бұрын
Holoclaustrophobic. I think specific for DG they should start with The Money Store , or Bottomless Pit before they go with Powers That B just so they are more ready for the more expiremental album. As for Danny I love Atrocity Exhibition so much and I think they'd really enjoy the more expiremental hip hop

Pusha's "666 I got the Devil's flow" line is because Toronto, wear Drake's from, used to be broken up into 6 boroughs so he calls it "The 6". Drake also calls himself "The 6 God". And on some of his production, Drake's producer put's a 666 voice clip at the beginning or end of some of his songs. Pusha actually puts the real voice clip they use in HIS diss as well if you listen closely(9:55).
