1e AD&D Monster Manuel grants a +3 bonus on nearly every monster's AC. In the Player's Handbook there is a table showing Weapon Types, General Data, and "To Hit" Adjustments. This is not specifically spelled out. Players have an unarmored AC of 10, meanwhile monsters have an unarmored AC of 7. This unexplained bonus to AC made its way into second edition. However, in second edition there is no mention of weapon "to hit" armor type anywhere in the rules.

Thanks for uploading, Vlad. I was slightly confused but the article you referenced was very helpful 😂.

How did you come up with using a monsters HD as their attack bonus? Did you just make this up or is this the official rule for conversion?

It's in the official rules, I believe it's in the section just before the Bestiary.

How do I convert feats to Scarlet Heroes?

To make things simpler I would convert them into traits as much as possible. You can also add them with minimal modifications (like spells), and follow the normal conditions for gaining them, but it would make your character more powerful so you would need to account for that when balancing fights.
