Putin says Russia's modernised 95% of nuclear forces

President Vladimir Putin said that 95% of Russia's strategic nuclear forces had been modernised and that the Air Force had just taken delivery of four new supersonic nuclear-capable bombers.
Putin made the comments in a statement released to coincide with Russia's annual Defender of the Fatherland Day, which celebrates the army, a day after he flew on a modernised Tu-160M nuclear-capable strategic bomber.
The Russian leader praised soldiers fighting in Ukraine in what he called a "special military operation," hailing them as heroes battling for "truth and justice."

Respectfully, I recall Russia had a recent test that failed because the door of a land based missile wouldn't open. Who knows how many failures they have. Any Russian journalist who reported something like a Russian missile failure would probably go missing the next day. Also, even if every missile on that UK sub failed, I'm pretty sure the other thousand or so warheads from silos, aircraft and other subs in the west would fire just fine. At the end of the day,.if NONE of the west's nukes worked..what does it matter? It would just take longer for everybody to die from radiation, starvation etc. Instead of being instantly vaporized (even the Russians). A first strike from Russia isn't going to be one missile. Russia knows the West has constant surveillance on their nukes and knows even when they just open a silo door to test it. That's why we all clear test launches with everyone. Including Russia. 🇺🇲❤️🇺🇦
