remote sites the best in my opinion

I have to agree. The remote sites look very nice, I didn't get a chance to go out and check them out on this trip, but it doesn't give me a good reason to go back to Putnam Pond in the future but rather than pay for the remote sites I might consider just doing some disperse camping up there. Thank you for the video, it is very helpful! I wish you would videotape the bathrooms/showers and if there's a sink to wash dishes. I'm also wondering if the water in the showers is hot. Oh, and if they have kayaks for rent, how many and how do we find out the pricing :)))

You can check the New York State Department of environmental conservation website. There's plenty of information about the campground. I do believe they have rental canoes, on the subject of photographing inside the bathrooms. It can be touchy when the bathrooms are open for business and there are lots of people in the campground when I'm there mid week and nobody's around I will make a pass through the men's room, but frankly in my experience with DEC campgrounds bathrooms are kept very clean. The water is plenty hot. The weekends may be problematic. Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a comment
